This is an awesome, entertaining book that builds in suspense and a thrill ride; as you piece the past together with the future! I’ll be reading the next installment for sure!

Great storyline, interesting characters, awesome suspense/unraveling of the plot;some of the characters actions unrealistic

This is an entertaining book that keeps the listener/reader tuned in. I wouldn’t say it’s the among most well written literary masterpieces... but it isn’t a horrible book either. I’d compare it to a television series that one gets hooked to! It’s a great storyline, has constant action, mixed with pieces of an unknown background story... all of which make this an impossible read to put down; but like I said, it’s more like a small budget TV series (that you love) rather than an Academy Award winning movie! I will say that although all the characters are well developed, very likable, and have great interaction... some of the romance scenes between the main character and her new love interest/life saving classmate are just slightly unbelievable! I mean who would think about a guy you were crushing on when your only family member you have had since birth is missing, and/or could be dead?! I just can’t believe anyone would choose to make out with a crush; and worry about him washing your clothes at such a time of distress. That is what I found to be the most unrealistic part of this story. But other than that, I enjoyed this book! I’d say if you are trying to decide to read this book or not, give it a try! It won’t waste your time, it will keep your attention until the very end! But again, think television series, and not movie of the year! ;)

I love this series, I actually grew up in Bensenville, IL! Hahaha and I live in Chicago... so I enjoy the locations of this book as well as the storyline!

Twisted. And brilliant! Movie worthy!

I love the way the story had unraveled... Even though the most horrific accounts of what was happening to these girls I just had to hear more... As hard as it was to fathom, I needed to find out what was happening next in the account of abuse.

Wow this is so familiar...

Why had I felt like I have read a storyline eerily close to this plot before??? Wait! I know!!! "Therapy, seems so much like "Shutter Island"! Good story, great writing... It's just too bad too bad it's been done before! Personally, I feel as if I wasted a credit because I already read, "Shutter Island!" But if you have not read "Shutter Island" (or know about the plot of "S.Island") then you will love this book! Otherwise, save your money, and most importantly... save your time!

I loved this book

I wasn't sure this book wouldn't be cheesy and overdone with Middle School appeal (witch clichés, vampire romance, and dumb magic spells to fix any situation). Hence I bought the book when it was on sale, and nearly forgot about it. Nearly 10 months passed before I decided to give it a try! What can I say? Now I'm hooked. It wasn't cliché or middle school at all, I found it delightful, intriguing, and entertaining. I would recommend this to anyone who likes adult friendly supernatural stories, especially those who like to read books in a series! Anyway, I can't want to start book 2 in this series!
