Overdue is a podcast about the books you've been meaning to read. Join Andrew and Craig each week as they tackle a new title from their backlog. Classic literature, obscure plays, goofy childen’s books: they'll read it all, one overdue book at a time.

My favorite podcast!
Revisado: 12-09-20
Mch of the time insightful, often hilarious, always entertaining. I can listen for hours a day. Some of the episodes are truly epic and some of them are just silly and fun. The variety of book selections is right up my alley. And I very much appreciate that Craig and Andrew never shy away from naming and exploring problematic themes (racism, sexism, abuse, etc) even in beloved classics and books they love. I've learned a lot listening to Overdue.

Just amazing
Revisado: 10-16-16
I can't believe how quickly I listened to the whole book. The story is riveting -- a perfect balance of intertwining detail, character development, amazing descriptions, and a plot that has doubtless lead the hand of many of our best contemporary storytellers. The pace of the narration fit wonderfully, and the narrator gave each character a unique and recognizable voice -- without overdoing it.

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

best audio book ever?
Revisado: 09-11-16
I have to admit that I pretty much listened to that without stopping (okay I slept some) from start to finish. And I'm tempted to listen to it again right now. I wish Wil Wheaton would give lessons to every other voice actor I have ever heard. I love sci fi, and was admittedly an early 80s baby, so the pop culture was perfect... and this book was just non-stop fun and entertainment. reccomend super highly.
