Historia
A month ago, James Cronley Jr. managed to capture two notorious Nazi war criminals, but not without leaving some dead bodies and outraged Austrian police in his wake. He's been lying low ever since, but that little vacation is about to end. Somebody - Odessa, the NKGB, the Hungarian Secret Police? - has broken the criminals out of jail, and he must track them down again. But there's more to it than that. Evidence has surfaced that in the war's last gasps, Heinrich Himmler had stashed away a fortune to build a secret religion, dedicated both to Himmler and to creating the Fourth Reich.

Sloppy, weak, and confusing narration.
Revisado: 08-20-21
Having thoroughly enjoyed the previous works in this series, I was sadly disappointed both in the flat and inconsistent effort in narration, as well as the constant rehash of dialog for the sake of filling space. Zero additional character development from previous storyline was included. Wrap it up, let's call this one done. I've listened to worse, but none that I had this much anticipation for and time invested in. Such an opportunity wasted for a grand conclusion.

Historia
January 1946: Two WACs leave an officers' club in Munich, and four Soviet NKGB agents kidnap them at knifepoint in the parking lot and shove them in the back of an ambulance. That is the agents' first mistake, and their last. One of the WACs, a blond woman improbably named Claudette Colbert, works for the new Directorate of Central Intelligence, and three of the men end up dead and the fourth wounded.

Hope there's more to follow. Best series I've listened to in many years. Great narration as with the previous two books.

Historia
Texas: a land of sprawling diversity and unparalleled richness; a dazzling chapter in the history of our nation; a place like no other on Earth. Through the remarkable lives of four families, this epic saga spans four centuries and two continents and charts the dramatic formation of several great dynasties from the age of the conquistadors to the present day. A richly compelling novel of a proud people eager to meet the challenge of the land, Texas is James Michener's most magnificent achievement.

Help me start a BOYCOTT!!
Revisado: 12-14-16
Would you try another book from James A. Michener and/or Larry McKeever?
No!
What was most disappointing about James A. Michener’s story?
It is obvious that the Michener team dont care for the world of audio books, I have read several of his epic novels before attempting one in audio format. To my misfortune and disbelief EVERY Michener story is narrated by Larry McKeever. The narration is just punishing! In fact this is what they should broadcast at Guantanamo to prisoners.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Larry McKeever?
Almost anyone who is a native english speaker would be preferable.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Apparently the staff at Audible dont bother to read reviews or see the necessity to improve the quality of the listener experience.

Historia
Terrorism in Europe has spun out of control. The United States has decided on a dramatic response. Now, the CIA needs a very special kind of operative. Scot Harvath has exactly the skills the CIA is looking for. He's a former U.S. Navy SEAL with extensive experience in espionage. Working for a private intelligence company, he will provide the CIA, and more important, the President, with absolute deniability.

Current, captivating, a great summer listen!
Revisado: 06-30-16
Would you listen to Foreign Agent again? Why?
Absolutely, what a great story line and Armand Schultz really brings it to life.
What other book might you compare Foreign Agent to and why?
Like all of the Harvath books, this one delivers action, intrigue, and keeps you engaged to the very end.
What does Armand Schulz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Very clear and compelling tone, adds depth to all the characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I finished it in 3 days, at home and in the car.
Any additional comments?
Brad Thor never disappoints!
