Desantis is very clear where he stands on the issues and does a great job connecting his positions to tradition American values…especially the Constitution. Go Ron!

Historia
A major new biography of the fourth US president, from New York Times best-selling author Lynne Cheney. James Madison was a true genius of the early republic, the leader who did more than any other to create the nation we know today. This majestic new biography tells his story. Outwardly reserved, Madison was the intellectual driving force behind the Constitution. His visionary political philosophy was a crucial factor behind the Constitution’s ratification, and his political savvy was of major importance in getting the new government underway.

We are the Constitution...the Constitution is Madison
Revisado: 04-05-16
This is an amazing perspective on the formation of our country from the perspective of a man that was front and center during its creation and there to guide it for the next half century. Where this book really shines though, is the insight we gain into Madison's genius, foresight and personal struggle in the creation of the U.S. Constitution which remains to this day the foremost blueprint of how a diverse population of people can harmoniously and constructively live together. You will learn what we owe to this great man. Many thanks to Lyn Cheney.

Greece as the Greeks saw it
Revisado: 10-07-03
It is nearly impossible to make it through the American educational system without learning the significance of ancient Greece to western culture, but Cyril Robinson brings this story to life through the (pompous and sometimes overly dramatic) portrayal of Greek history. Nevertheless, Robinson has a talent for placing the ?reader? behind the eyes of those who witnessed the rise of democracy, the mastery of trade in the Aegean and the Mediterranean, the generation-by-generation refinement of art to its simplest and barest essence, the intransigence of the Greek city states, the elation of the conquerors and the horror of the conquered. As the book progresses, you begin to see that our present way of life has been so polarized by the ancient Greeks that we must ask if it is possible for the modern mind to imagine a different way of life. Indeed, our civilization is still wrestling with many of the same dilemmas that ultimately lead to the demise of this remarkable group of people. In summary, Robinson?s book offers not only a clearer appreciation of the contributions of the ancient Greeks to our culture, but a specific recognition of where they went wrong.
