AI voice is absolutely horrible.

If you want to have an AI voice don’t try listening to a book with slang or medical terminology.
Painful to listen to the book getting butchered.
The story was decent. Can’t tell if it was poorly edited or if it was simply the AI voice attempting to read a book that was supposed to be set in the south with southern accents. Won’t listen to another one

Wow writing towards 16 yr old girls

This is certainly a simple storyline. Start with the Cinderella complex. Add in some high school level drama. Mix with simple hates and dislikes. Sprinkle with love, goals and couch it in the “business” world. Just glad I didn’t spend money on it.

Good story, REALLY prefer narrator from book 1

Good story, just couldn't get used to the effeminate voice of the narrator compared to book one where the narrator seemed to fit the concept of Mongolian leaders.
enjoyed following the story. enjoyed getting "meat" behind the life and battles for Genghis Khan. But after the author explains the details of pronunciation of "Khan" and then that is ignored????

Where does Up Country rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
this is a good read. I like the historical aspect and the story narrative. Up Country takes on its theme and follows through. The concept of the term Up Country follows along with the story line leading the reader through a modern day Vietnam and exploring the characters memories of the war riddled Vietnam.
