Hilarious and heart warming!

I get this book out when I need a good laugh. As someone who has struggled with my weight, I strongly identify with Greg and Zoey and their diet fight. (particularly the cabbage soup diet!) It is my favorite Nick Spalding Book! The narrators are perfect! I enjoy their performances. If you like this audio book, I also recommend Bricking It by Nick Spalding. Same hilarious vibe, same narrators.

This is a great series! I liked the second book as well as the first. Now I am stuck knowing that the author has other series going on at the same time so it might take years. luckily I am impatiently awaiting his other series too. I guess I win either way. Also the voice performance is perfect. I am very impressed!

Great Story- not for the faint of heart

Would you listen to Reaper's Property again? Why?

Yes. I have and I will again. It is a good story. Very hot, and more complex than one would think at the start. It took me a bit to get into it because it is pretty hardcore. The author doesn't turn a MC member into a white night on a hog. They rough and unapologetic.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like Picnic. And he finally has his own book. He is hot, hard, and also a protective daddy. I like older guys too.

What about Stella Bloom’s performance did you like?

She is a good fit for this story and I enjoyed her performance.

Great series- Friends to lovers

What did you love best about Before Jamaica Lane?

I love Samantha Young's series and I love Friends to Lovers story lines. I really enjoyed the development of the relationship in this story!

Which scene was your favorite?

I pretty much like every time they are doing an either or scenario.

Any additional comments?

This is a great addition to a great series. It can be a standalone story but you will be glad to have read the previous books in the series first because the are great and second because the other characters reappear in this book.

Would you listen to Until Fountain Bridge again? Why?

Yes. It is a great story and part of a wonderful series.

What about Ruth Hopkins’s performance did you like?

I think she did very well. They've had several very good narrators working on these books.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both. The author manages to bring on the angst and the humor.

Any additional comments?

I wish this didn't have to be a retrospective. The relationship that the story revolves around happens in the first book as a side note. This book goes back and tells their story by way of journal entries. I feel like the author didn't have to do this. If the other readers are anything like me the don't mind revisiting old territory from a new point of view. She could have gone back and told this story in the first person from their perspective and I would have happily consumed it. The telling of a story via second hand narration like that makes it somewhat choppy. It is one of my favorite stories in the series, but for the content, not the writing style.

What other book might you compare Heaven, Texas to and why?

Natural Born Charmers Also by S.E.P. it has a similar vibe. Deep without being full of itself, yet still managing to be poignant and amusing at the same time.

What about Anna Fields’s performance did you like?

Anna Fields was an artist. She is greatly missed and her voice will forever be SEP's books to me.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

both. I managed to do both several times while listening for the first time.

I highly recommend this story and everything else by this author. The narration is gold.

Love this story and the series that follows

What made the experience of listening to On Dublin Street the most enjoyable?

The writing, the narration... Scotland! This story brings it all together. there were a few moments when I wanted to slap Joss upside the back of the head, but I am thoroughly won over.

What did you like best about this story?

I can't even narrow it down... I love the alpha, love the fact that Joss gives as good as she gets, love the backdrop of Scotland. Any time I am done with a book and inspired to look things up on line to see what they are writing about or get more details, I know it was a success.

What does Paula Costello bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A Scottish accent. :-) She is a very good narrator and manages to keep the story flowing through different characters, sexes, and accents. It is impressive.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes definitely

Not particularly, but I was also doing my housework at the time so that isn't totally true.

Did The Italian's Suitable Wife inspire you to do anything?

I kept on waiting for the female lead to grow a back bone. It didn't happen.

Where does Playing for Keeps rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is one of my favorites. I have listened to it a number of times.

What did you like best about this story?

The Bradford appetite and the back and forth between the two main characters.

Which character – as performed by Fran Jewels – was your favorite?

Jason. The most lovable oblivious jerk ever.

Who was the most memorable character of Playing for Keeps and why?

Also Jason although the female lead is not slouch either.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes. In fact I have. I love the Neighbor from Hell series. The books are funny and heart warming. I run through them like a Bradford at an all you can eat buffet!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Zoey. I liked that she made Trevor listen to the entire twilight series by promising him that there was sex in it.

What about Fran Jules’s performance did you like?

She does enraged self importance well!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

I would recommend the entire series if you like hot guys and funny pranks.
