The mystery was ideal for me. The narrator had a voice that was easy to listen to, and did other voices reasonably well. I actually really enjoyed the narrator, he fit perfectly with the character I imagined. I enjoyed the detail of Scotland, and felt like I was traveling along at times. I highly recommend this mystery.

So sweet and a heartbreaking emotional roller coaster well worth riding to the HEA at the finish.
The narration is excellent, the storyline is superb, and the characters become like close family and friends.
This is definitely a slow, slow burn, but it is worth it. Just keep some tissues handy.

Cleo is living a double life, and only her agent knows. Tony wants Cleo, and is always a stand-up guy, but past hurts have Cleo doubting him at times.
Tony is used to Hollywood and paparazzi, but Cleo isn’t. Cleo falls into some traps from being too sweet and trusting.
I would have been disappointed if this was only an audiobook for the first book, but being able to listen to the entire series in this AWESOME audiobook was
FANTASTIC.
The female narrator does a good job, but there are just so many different characters, it was difficult for me to distinguish between some of them, and I found I needed to rewind quite frequently.
The spice level of this book is really high, it is super steamy.

Ends with an Abrupt CLIFFHANGER.

This ended on an abrupt cliffhanger. I know this is book one in a series, but I foolishly thought each book in the series had its own ending and were about different cowboys.

The storyline was actually fairly good, but the male characters, with the exception of Will, were mean, and the MFC was in her late 20’s and weak.

The narrator sounded like she was an AI voice. The attempt to do a few many characters fell flat. There were many pronunciation mistakes which were distracting to me.

I didn’t find this audiobook enjoyable enough to listen to the next one in the series, but it was the perfect length. I was able to finish listening to it during a recent dental procedure.

Although I enjoyed this audiobook, I found that I needed to frequently rewind and listen to sections two or three times to understand what was happening. As the story progressed, I believe I “caught on” to the gist of what was going on, and the story seemed to progress smoothly.
I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I plan to buy and keep a pair of ocular protective goggles with me…..just in case.
I am glad that this audiobook had a happy ending, it made it worth the time it took to listen to it.
I would recommend you listen to this audiobook in a location you can easily rewind your device, just in case you are like me and don’t catch everything the first playing.

Grace has a secret. Garrison has a secret too. When they meet outside of the hockey arena sparks fly as their darkest secrets are revealed.
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The character development was excellent, and the characters were well-written with warmth and dimension.
Even though this book addressed some kinks that may be frowned upon in polite society, the author wrote them extremely well, making them a natural part of the character’s lives.

OMG, I need a cold shower, or two, or three after the steaminess of this audiobook. Glitter and Stryker have explosive chemistry that is off the charts.
I will admit that some of the scenes were a bit too much for this mid-60’s grandma, but I was warned beforehand. I definitely learned a thing or two.

If you are looking for an audiobook that will totally envelop and immerse you, look no further. Just make certain you have an iced cold drink handy, and keep the room cool when you are listening to this story because everything will heat up.

A quest for antibiotics that’s hilarious.

This is my first experience with both Cy and this author, and I admit it won’t be my last.
Poor Cy, you would think a quest to get an antibiotic would be so simple, but fortunately for us listeners, it wasn’t. I giggled as Cy encountered nosy toads (I will fall asleep hearing the song “Who are They and Where are They Going” on repeat in my head.)
I learned a lot of things, like perhaps a pumpkin isn’t the best hostess gift to take to a party…or perhaps it is?
Some of the height jokes, size jokes and references to some things from World War Two and current events were a little over the top for me.
I adored the genie and was hoping to hear more about him, but perhaps on a future quest Cy will encounter the genie again.
It was nice to learn the difference between a Pixie and a Fairy.
I laughed at the pigeon ninja, “god of not choking on bacon rind”, the Scar/Mufasa reference, and so many other silly things.
At the end I was so thankful for time travel.

An AMAZING Story proving that LOVE Never Dies.

PLEASE. Listen to this AWESOME audiobook asap; in my opinion, it is a book you won’t want to miss. “Jo Who Died” is a wonderful combination of miscommunication, love, tenderness, humor, life, death, and more love.
The narrator of this audiobook is a child/sibling who died. It reminded me of the book “The Lovely Bones”, which is narrated by a deceased girl. Only this book thankfully doesn’t have much angst.

I lost a sister in 1986, when she was 30 and I was 27, and this book actually made me feel like even though my sister may be dead, she still is part of my life and knows my joy’s, sorrow’s, and milestones.

I needed a few tissues at the end of this audiobook, not from sadness or grief, it was from an AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, TENDER, FULFILLING ending.
All throughout this book, as the detective was interviewing all the sibling’s, other persons of interest, and the deceased girl’s mom, I didn’t feel sadness or angst. I felt entranced, and enjoyed learning the backgrounds and personalities of all involved. I had a few good chuckles at the well-timed, subtle humor.

K. H. Walters did an EXCEPTIONAL job of giving all the characters such dimension. By the end of this book, I felt like I knew most of the characters intimately, like they were part of my family.

Melanie Crawley, who is the actual human voice that gave life to all the characters, did a tremendous job, and it was a pleasure listening to her.

Whether you listen to this as you clean, exercise, work, drive, or just sit relaxing, you are certain to have an incredible experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this audiobook.

A funny quest for missing left socks.

It’s good to know that a quest doesn’t have to be a long, drawn out event. ELM was able to pick any quest from an “Intro to Questing” book, and he chose to find the missing socks. That may sound dull and boring, but with this cast of characters it definitely wasn’t.
We still have Slad the Vegan Vampire, and other familiar faces, but we are introduced to more wacky characters. We meet Count Muchausen, who hosts a recovering villains group, a “Quaken”, the misfits (reminiscent of the island of misfit toys in Rudolph), and a host of other living, and non-living figures.
I can’t explain how absolutely delightfully silly and interesting this quest was without giving away the puns and punch lines. Just listen to this audiobook and you will be entranced with a 3 bean circus, the Drac Pack, hokiness, more rabbits, and an unlikely anti-hero.
