Historia
Based on the "field notes" she keeps in her journal, Memory's Last Breath is Gerda Saunders' astonishing window into a life distorted by dementia. She writes about shopping trips cut short by unintentional shoplifting, car journeys derailed when she loses her bearings, and the embarrassment of forgetting what she has just said to a room of colleagues. Coping with the complications of losing short-term memory, Saunders, a former university professor, nonetheless embarks on a personal investigation of the brain and its mysteries, examining science and literature.

Lena being Lena.
Revisado: 10-14-17
interesting narrative of a young girl telling you what she's learned or so she says. I would love to hear her take on this when she's 60. it was fun to listen to. I can relate to a few her descriptions especially the ones when she was young. I mean under 10. I would definitely tell my friends they should listen to this. I would be curious to see what other mature women think about her take on growing up.

Historia
When 22-year-old Jennifer Worth, from a comfortable middle-class upbringing, went to work as a midwife in the poorest section of postwar London, she not only delivered hundreds of babies and touched many lives, she also became the neighborhood's most vivid chronicler. Call the Midwife: Farewell to the East End is the last book in Worth's memoir trilogy, which the Times Literary Supplement described as "powerful stories with sweet charm and controlled outrage" in the face of dire circumstances.

I enjoyed the narrative some of it was a repeat of other books. love Odd Thomas' character. I will miss , not a big Koonz fan. too bloody for me. Somehow I tolerated the gory themes in this story.
