Historia
Many Christians are frustrated because the kinds of supernatural encounters seen in the Bible are so rare in their personal experience. But don’t be discouraged! It is possible to consistently walk in God’s powerful presence. Respected apostolic voice Kynan Bridges invites you to the School of the Presence where you will receive practical teaching on how to wield authority over darkness, enjoy intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and operate in signs and wonders as an everyday lifestyle!

Narrator ruins it
Revisado: 08-09-20
I love the content and would listen to it again, but I just can’t. Every time the narrator reads a quote or Scripture he puts on this affectatious voice that is laughable and then irritating. Ugh. And the woman’s voice was worse, but thankfully limited.

Historia
Is God a sadistic torturer? Coldhearted judge? Genocidal maniac? Unfortunately, our popular caricatures often make him out to be. God has some skeletons in the closet. At least, that's what many of us fear. "How can a loving God send people to hell?" "Isn't it arrogant to believe Jesus is the only way to God?" "What is up with holy war in the Old Testament?" These are difficult questions that our family, our friends, our culture - even we ourselves - are asking.

More unanswered questions
Revisado: 08-07-17
The author seemed proud that he had answers questions I never had and left the questions I did have unanswered. He tried to interpret away some hard passages, but left me unsatisfied. The reader's voice was rather dull...but maybe it was the book.

Historia
Many Christians today feel overwhelmed as they try to live faithfully in a culture that seems increasingly hostile to their beliefs. Politics, marriage, sexuality, religious freedom - with an ever-growing list of contentious issues, believers find it harder than ever to hold on to their convictions while treating their friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even family members who disagree with respect and compassion.

Too preachy
Revisado: 08-07-17
I heard David Kinnamon speak at a conference and I enjoyed the talk. I did not expect the tone of this book. Instead of research and ideas, it was filled with directives. Even when I agreed with the premises I was annoyed.
