Love the story but could’ve done with less voices

I’m a huge fan of Terry and have listened to the older version of this audiobook several times. I appreciate the better recording quality but feel like the narrator got carried away with the weirdness of the voices. Still worth the listen, but I prefer the older one myself.

I love hard boiled sci fi but this book is so dull I can’t get through it. Monotone narration may be the reason but I have to abandon this one unfinished, which is rare for me.
