Awsome introduction to Hap and Leonard, giving us a brief taste of the boys and the crazy things they get up to in every book! i'm looking forward to Devil red becoming an audio book along with Hyena some day...well Devil Red comes out in September but who knows when Hyena will be released, lets hope its sooooooon!

not the best but close.

well this book is a bit slow, a real slow build up and the new xeno is pretty cool but my god is it a slow build up...slow, slow, slow. They do make mention of Amanda Ripley, but not make so other then that the new xeno's ability's are very interesting but not sure where they could have gone with it at the end..so yeah.

The Baron relates his fantastical experiences and exploits, telling of the many singular incidents such as climbing to the moon on a beanstalk, riding on a cannon ball, being swallowed by a fish and being rescued from its insides, flying on an eagle from Margate to America, and many other incredible adventures, and challenges anyone who doubts him, asserting he is "a traveler of veracity!"

Awesome book, I loved to read this when I was a kid and listening to this now just brings back all kinds of fun memory's from then! The voice actor was amazing and the stories were such fun to hear them and i'm just looking forward to volume 2, hopefully they release volume 2 soon!
