Historia
Hannah graduates from middle school on Friday. That's the day she transforms into a living puppet, like her parents and teachers before her. No longer a human girl made of flesh and feelings, but a perfect wooden new self, whose strings lead up from her limbs into an endless black void above. With no pain. No sorrow. No sickness. No fear. But Hannah has begun to suspect that something is very, very wrong.

Imaginative,Thrilling, and Fun

This is not your typical story, from not your typical author. It is imaginative and keeps you guessing the whole time, wondering what it all means and where it is all going. It has a great pace and is beautifully written.
I immensely enjoyed the story of Hannah, and recommend it to anyone who likes stories that push the bounds of reality within their books.
If I had to summarize the feeling of the book for an unsuspecting reader, it would be a cross between the wildest Tim Burton film and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, with layers of existential investigation and coming of age questions intertwined.
