Historia
Nineteenth-century Europe—from Turin to Prague to Paris—abounds with the ghastly and the mysterious. Jesuits plot against Freemasons. Italian republicans strangle priests with their own intestines. French criminals plan bombings by day and celebrate Black Masses at night. Every nation has its own secret service, perpetrating forgeries, plots, and massacres. Conspiracies rule history.

There are many historical trends and events woven into this novel. Is it just a darkly humorous spoof - or is truth being revealed under the guise of fiction?

Historia
TRANCE Formation of America was released in 1995 after the 1947 National Security Act was invoked to censor this testimony from the US Congressional Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Oversight. Today TRANCE, now in its 17th English edition, is referenced in major universities and is in law libraries worldwide due to its continued relevance to global events. Knowledge is our first line of defense against mind control, and this book is indeed the truth that makes us free.

Sounds Like the Real Deal
Revisado: 05-30-23
I encountered the print version of this book several years ago. For those unfamiliar with this story and its subject matter, it’s hard to accept as truthful. However, I have indeed come to view it as an honest recollection. As such, I feel that this book is “essential reading” (or listening) for those who seek insight into how governments work.

Historia
Rachel Shabi was born in Israel to Jewish Iraqi parents. When she was a child her family emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1974. Their leaving reversed the spiritual trek of the Jewish Diaspora, around the world whose members wistfully repeat at the Passover tables, "Next year in Jerusalem." Years later, in fact, Shabi went back to visit and to live for an extended period, but her attitude toward her former homeland is conflicted by the longstanding discrimination suffered by Arab Jews in Israel.

Ethnic Tension In Israel
Revisado: 12-13-22
I was unaware of the depth of prejudice faced by the Mizrahi Israeli Jews. Apparently, many Ashkenazi Israeli Jews look upon their Mizrahi brethren as second-class citizens. This is a thoughtful, well written, well read exploration.

Historia
This explosive work of history unearths clues that finally demonstrate the truth about one of the world's great religions: that it was born out of the conflict between the Romans and messianic Jews who fought a bitter war with each other during the first century. The Romans employed a tactic they routinely used to conquer and absorb other nations: they grafted their imperial rule onto the religion of the conquered.

Historia
In this brave and moving memoir, Corey Feldman is revealing the truth about what his life was like behind the scenes: His is a past that included physical, drug, and sexual abuse, a dysfunctional family from which he was emancipated at age fifteen, three high-profile arrests for drug possession, a nine-month stint in rehab, and a long, slow crawl back to the top of the box office.

Interesting and Engaging
Revisado: 06-14-22
I listened in the hope of learning more about the “star making machinery” in Hollywood. I sense that I only got glimpses of what goes on behind the casting and deal-making process. I also suspect that some of the stories about Mr. Feldman’s dysfunctional family were left on the cutting room floor. Regardless, this sounded like an honest, insightful and courageous memoir. The author shares hard-learned lessons and colorful anecdotes. Ultimately, Mr. Feldman’s positive spirit shines through. A worthy listen!

A great listen. A riveting recollection of what were likely true experiences. Excellent narration. A perspective on the Vietnam War that makes more sense than the official story. I’m grateful to have had the chance to hear this audiobook.

Historia
When Alice Cooper became the stuff of legend in the early '70s, their shows were monuments of fun and invention. Riding on a string of hits like "I'm 18" and "School's Out", they became America's highest-grossing act, producing four platinum albums and hitting number one on the US and UK charts with Billion Dollar Babies in 1973. Their utterly original performance style and look, known as shock rock, was swiftly copied by countless bands.

Impressive
Revisado: 04-11-22
I was inspired to listen to this book after listening to the memoir of Shep Gordon, the Alice Cooper Group’s manager. The books offer different perspectives on the group’s meteoric rise to success. My intuition tells me that Mr. Dunaway’s version is the more open and honest recollection. Regardless, it was interesting, insightful, and entertaining throughout.

They were joined in the scandal by a mutual childhood friend, Tommy Martino. By November 2008, each man had pleaded guilty to charges relating to the conspiracy and was in federal prison.

Historia
In Cancer and the New Biology of Water, Thomas Cowan argues that this failure was inevitable because the oncogene theory is incorrect or at least incomplete and based on a flawed concept of biology in which DNA controls our cellular function and therefore our health. Instead, Dr. Cowan tells us the somatic mutations seen in cancer cells are the result of a cellular deterioration that has little to do with oncogenes, DNA, or even the nucleus.
