Historia
Crimebusting duo DI Jackman and DS Evans are back, solving another crime that will make your skin crawl. Twenty years ago: a farmer and his wife are cut to pieces by a ruthless serial killer. Now: a woman is viciously stabbed to death in the upmarket kitchen of her beautiful house on the edge of the marshes. Then a man called Daniel Kinder walks into Saltern police station and confesses to the murder. But DI Rowan Jackman and DS Marie Evans of the Fenland Constabulary soon discover that there is a lot more to Daniel than meets the eye.

Well told
Revisado: 07-04-23
The story as well as the narration was well told. Richard Armitage has a way of reading that’s addictive. The story was gripping right up to the end. Kept me guessing up until the last half hour. The other characters that was briefly tied to main suspect could have been either dumped or used in other ways to tie everything together! Nonetheless a very enjoyable read!

Life’s lessons are hard!
Revisado: 01-17-23
This story was told with so much humor and compassion, it’s a must read! At times it felt as if the author had a peep into my mind! It’s about three women’s abilities to cope with life’s dilemmas by themselves and the idillic picture we all have of other people’s life’s on the outside, mainly because of what we compare ourselves with things we read on social media. They each had to take a few turns to realise that everyone has their own stuff to work through, and the value of true compassion and friendship cannot be measured, or bought with money. Indeed a very relatable story!

Mindboggling Brilliant!
Revisado: 11-24-22
This story start at the end and ends at the starting point. The main character goes step by step into the past and peels away layers of mysterious incidents with astonishing results. It gripped my mind right up until the end. A very intelligent enjoyable read.

It’s been some time since I was absorbed into a story wholeheartedly. This was pure joy, beautifully read and written. The way the author described her characters, surroundings etc was with humour and compassion. The narrator did an excellent job and I will be looking out for more of her work.

Historia
Some call him friend or boss. Some call him husband or dad. Some call him son, even a favorite son. But the only title that matters to him is the one the media has given him: the Poet. A name he earned from the written words he leaves behind after he kills that are as dark and mysterious as the reason he chooses his victims. One word, two, three, a story in a poem, a secret that only Detective Samantha Jazz can solve. Because, he’s writing this story for her.

This book was well read, well written and intriguing. All the characters became alive and real, and were skilfully put together! Will in future look out for more from the author.
