Historia
No, I didn't kill the dead human. If I had, I wouldn't dump the body in the station mall. When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people—who knew?) Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans! Again!

the worst entry in the murderbot diaries is still good. it feels out of place and is not chronologically coherent with the previous and next entries

Historia
Our predictions of the future are a wild fantasy, inextricably linked to our present hopes and fears, biases and ignorance. Whether they be the outlandish leaps predicted in the 1920s, like multi-purpose utility belts with climate control capabilities and planes the size of luxury cruise ships, or the forecasts of the '60s, which didn't anticipate the sexual revolution or women's liberation, the path to the present is littered with failed predictions and incorrect estimations. The best we can do is try to absorb from futurism's checkered past, perhaps learning to do a little better.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

possibly the best Andy Weir story I have enjoyed

and that's saying something! I listened to the Martian and Artemis. Hail Mary is a worthy heir to the hard science fiction club

Tackling some of humanity’s oldest questions along with new quandaries only he could imagine, these stories will change the way you think, feel, and see the world. They are Ted Chiang at his best: profound, sympathetic, revelatory. Ted Chiang tackles some of humanity’s oldest questions along with new quandaries only he could imagine.

So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Pickett’s son Davis. Aza is trying. enthralling and eye-opening
Revisado: 12-08-18
was not particularly excited about this book premise, but was keen on listening to something by John Green as I listen to his podcast and enjoy his YouTube presence. The book delivers a detailed, not condescending perspective into mental illness. I was worried it might be too YA for me, but even though the teen talk and awkward teen relationships are, well, awkward, the book doesn't revolve around the plot.
