Powerfully told story

A must read for every veteran, dog lover, medical provider and anyone who struggles with PTSD.
As both a veteran and first responder with PTSD, I can so relate to the bond between Will and Cairo. Dogs save our lives both on the battlefields and at home.
Thank You Will for sharing Cairo's story in addition to your own. I'm certain it will help countless heroes suffering in silence and help them realize they aren't alone and they aren't crazy nor weak.
I retired from law enforcement in Orlando and I don't live far from there now. I'd love to connect with you and Natalie and collaborate in an effort to help others like us.
Lastly, I'm certain Cairo is running pain free through endless meadows and beaches until you meet again.

I bought Mikes book last summer but just couldn't find the downtime to read it. So this was my first Audiobook and I couldn't be happier.
To hear Mike's story directly from him first hand was like sitting by a fire with a close friend as they opened themselves up and bared their soul.
There just aren't enough positive adjectives to describe this book, but Powerful, Moving, Raw and inspiring come to mind first.
Well done Mike. Thank you for your service and sacrifice and courage to lead by example. Both on the battlefield and off.
