Took a moment to get used to.

The world is smaller than the epic fantasy I’m used to. Sanderson reveals a telling mind and opinions of philosophy, religion, politics, and undercurrents of social - cultural realities of our world in strange and creative environment. A mastery of convenience into the world of behaviour and morals we play out in our own lives.
Half way through i found i could not wait for the rest. The unraveling character development is masterful.
The narrators had a certain ‘3 piece method’ of tone that i found jarring and unrealistic to the way i would have naturally ready the book. Their emphasis seemed strangely limited. After a 5 hours i grew accustomed to it and then could enjoy the reading.

My first on the subject

There are sone bombs in this that I wasn’t ready. I was researching to learn about someone else’s behaviour - ended up seriously questioning my own.
It does well to paint a neutral stand point where your perspective isn’t shaped into a blaming frenzy. Shocking though.
One thing is the format. It is the most all over the place book I’ve ever experienced. The saving graces are that it does make some point at the end

Are you the pursuer or do you let men pursue you? The answer is the difference between you becoming a side toy for a man to play around with or a girlfriend with a title and eventually a woman who any man would be eager to call his wife. Many of us modern women have been taught that in order to get a guy we have to go out there and snag him, trick him, tag him, and drag him home. But that doesn't work - at least not in the long run.

A throw together book- don’t bother!

This book only serves to add more confusion to the dynamics between men and woman. She clearly doesn’t understand men or woman. The 6 other books I’ve read of this kind were written by people who have actually done research. This one was just thrown together on a whim based on 3 of her failed relationships. This is by far the worst. Why has everyone rated so high?? There is nothing insightful here and a few things she’s just wrong about, which I pray woman don’t take on board. There’s no depth, it’s just a shallow, click bait title for her to make money. I regret wasting my time on this. So far you are better off reading any other book
