I keep setting my expectations low for the next book in this series, because so often the books that follow the first in a series are never as good as the first but.....wrong! Love them all! Narrator is awesome. Hope there are more to come!

Narrator ruined it!

I have read the previous books in this series and enjoyed them. The author is consistent and her books entertain me. However, I could barley make it through this audio book. The narrator was so bad that I was tempted more the 10 times to just quit listening and would have if I didn't plan on continuing to READ the next in the series. I saw a review, before I bought it, about how the narrator made all the woman characters sound like they were whining and I wish I would have listened to it. It was awful. I have listened to a lot of books and I have never had a narrator ruin one so horribly for me. Take the advice I didn't and don't listen to this book.

I usually enjoy a Catherine Coulter book when there is nothing more interesting to choose. But this book was so awful I couldn't finish it. The narrator was a chore to listen to, and the story was just bizarre. Total waste of a credit.
