Revisado: 03-25-25
Don’t listen while driving. I was drawn to this podcast by her “bluntness” and barely made it through the episode. There is absolutely nothing new to learn here. Her tone is dull, almost disinterested, and she drones on and on as if she’s just talking to herself. She sounds as bored as I was.

Except for the high 5 part. I listened to the book and I cannot get on board with it. Too ridiculous, sorry. It’s way too Stuart Smalley for me, even as a self-help junkie. The rest of it? Solid.

I’ve lost an inordinate number of close friends to death over the years (in addition to two husbands: one to cancer, one to a vehicle accident) and I’m barely 50. I feel like most of my friends are dead. I’m still young! This is helpful info.

Revisado: 03-23-25
I guarantee some of these are things some folks never even realized were ways others are disrespecting them. This is all good advice to those doing the disrespecting - now you know it’s disrespectful and you can change your disrespectful ways - but for the disrespectees, this feels more like it could be interpreted as, “So and so does this and I never realized I was being disrespected! Now that I know, I’m offended/bothered/mad/hurt/upset!” Ergo, creating a problem where there really wasn’t one.

Nothing new to learn here for self-help junkies, but still solid advice. Also, what about those who work nights? Too many episodes about AM/PM routines and never a single mention of the 1 in 5 of us who work nights. Lotta night-shift nurses, healthcare professionals, and others listening too.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m a fan - but Mel Robbins throws around the phrases “life-changing” and “game-changer” so often that they’ve all but lost meaning. However, this book has the potential to actually DO those things. Definitely worth the credit.

Outstanding!
Revisado: 03-03-25
Michael Richards is an amazing storyteller and listening to him share his story, in his words and his voice, was mesmerizing. He doesn’t sound like he’s reading or “narrating,” it’s as if he’s your good friend, sitting next to you, talking about his life history and experiences with all the feelings of happiness, frustration, anger, heartbreak, disappointment, excitement, and so on, evident in his voice. He comes across as just an average, down-to-earth guy who just so happened to make a living by starring on the most popular sitcom in history.

Historia
John was 15 when it began. Visions, voices, feelings, an ability to make up stories about the future that, uncannily, came true. Actually, in retrospect, he was probably much younger than that, but it wasn't until he reached his teens that he realized his abilities were extraordinary. John Edward is now a renowned psychic medium whose talents are matched by only a handful of people in the world. One Last Time is his remarkable story.

Grieving? You NEED This Book.
Revisado: 03-03-25
This is the book that introduced me to John Edward. I had never heard of him when I found the “One Last Time” in 2001, shortly after the loss of my first husband from cancer at age 33. This book was instrumental not only in helping me navigate my grief with a feeling of peace, comfort, and reassurance, but also in sparking my interest in the world of spirit communication and metaphysics. Of all the similar books I read during that time, “One Last Time” was, by far, the most authentic, down-to-earth, and the one that I turned to over and over.
I’m a super skeptic when it comes to self-proclaimed “psychic mediums,” and over the years, through extensive research on hot and cold reading techniques as well as red flags/what to look for, I’ve found most - including some very popular, well-known ones - who claim to be such are nothing but smoke and mirrors, but I’m convinced John Edward is absolutely the real deal. I’ve seen him in person twice and the messages and incredibly specific, “un-Googleable” details he delivered was mind-blowing and well worth the price of admission, even not being read myself. He is genuine and his integrity is second-to-none.
To this day, I always recommend this book to friends who are experiencing the loss of a loved one; so much so that I will order it for them on Amazon and have it shipped directly to them…because I have never forgotten how much peace and comfort it brought ME all those years ago. I recommend it not only to anyone who is grieving a loss, but to any JE fan who hasn’t yet read this gem, or even anyone with an interest in what happens after we leave our physical bodies.
That said, purchasing the actual book is a must, because this is the abridged version. I don’t know why it’s not the full version. However, this is still a good place to start.
