Historia
Buckhead isn’t a place you live, it’s a place you survive. And that applies even to the wealthy housewives that have it all. Fancy cars, designer clothes, and daily salon appointments aren’t nearly enough to keep them fulfilled and happy. Because in this town, privilege and opulence go hand in hand with betrayal and revenge. Jenny, the owner of Glow, an exclusive membership-only beauty salon, knows that better than anyone, because she knows everything about these housewives—down to each individual strand of hair.

Historia
Ghosts don't exist in our world of today. Life is too pragmatic, too consuming, too busy for past lives to linger on longer than their allotted time, or so Halcyon had believed, until she received a letter from a lawyer claiming that her mother, whom she had thought long dead, had actually been living in another part of the country since Halcyon's early childhood. She had only recently passed away, leaving Halcyon heir to an unexpected fortune and an estate on an isolated island in the middle of the Great Lakes.

Historia
Photographer Isla Wilson is thrilled she's landed her dream job, but the clients who hired her are getting stranger by the day. It sounded so perfect—a month's assignment at the lush Scottish Highlands property of architect Alban McGregor, and his wife, Jessica. But in the woods, there's a playhouse with a chilling history. Two years ago, the McGregors' daughter Elodie was abducted and then died in that playhouse. The townspeople insist her abductor had to be a stranger in their town. Alban refuses to knock the playhouse down, even keeping a picture of it on his wall.

Whimsical and very well written!!
Revisado: 11-16-23
Shocked these were included in my membership! Love all Kim Harrison’s novels. One of my all time favorite authors! Her characters, (which often have the most clever names) have depth and her storylines always have a fresh twist on traditional fantasy. I fall deep into her books. I blazed through this series in a few days. Shout out to the narrator, Margarite Gavin, for a great job! Highly recommend!

Loving Jackman and Evans!!!
Revisado: 05-06-23
This is my new favorite series! Listen while they are freebies!! They won’t be for long. Once you do, you’ll just want more. This one is my favorite so far. I started listening out of order, which is fine, they are great stand alone novels, but the backstory will make more sense if listened in order. It’s good detective work, and I’m not saying they have earth shattering plot twists, but entertaining “who done its” none the less. Cant wait to listen to the rest!

Historia
Ten years ago he killed my son. Today I married him. Ten years ago my darling son Jesse was murdered and our perfect family was destroyed. My strong, handsome boy, so full of life, became a memory, a photo I carried with me everywhere. But today I’m finally close to finding happiness again. My ash-blonde hair has been curled into ringlets. Carefully placed white flowers frame my delicate features. The small, drab chapel has been prettied up with white satin, and there are tiny red hearts scattered on the small table where I will soon sign the register with my new husband.

Missing Voice Inflection between Characters
Revisado: 02-15-22
Very entertaining quick thriller. Good for in between credits. I only thing I didn’t like was that both the main characters sounded the exactly the same. No voice inflection so it was hard to know who was talking at times. Other than that it was a great easy listen!

Name change in 3rd book of series
Revisado: 12-04-20
This is a whimsical fun story with twists and turns. I really enjoyed the imagery in these books! I read all 3 in the series. I can imagine them sketching runes!! The only disappointment is that in the for some weird reason the reader (with great voice inflection), changes the pronunciation of one of the main characters names in the last book. It’s kind of annoying. 🤷🏻♀️ Even so, I would still listen to this free series again. 👍🏻
