Amazing story
Revisado: 10-26-17
I loved this! So well written. The characters are beautifully developed and the storyline flows so naturally. I felt for each disappointment and cheered for each triumph.
The narrator did a great job of distinguishing between characters, making it easy to know who each person was.

Cosy mystery, easy listening

Any additional comments?
Second book in the series that I've listened too and as much fun as the first. The story is complicated enough to keep you guessing without grossing you out. I'm enjoying this series and plan to read (listen) more.

Historia
Clare Cosi used to manage the historic Village Blend coffeehouse…until she opted for quieter pastures and a more suburban life. But after ten years and a little friendly cajoling from the owner (a fresh pot of Jamaican Blue Mountain was all it took), she's back to the grind. With a sprawling rent-free apartment directly above the Village Blend, her cat Java by her side, and plenty of coffeehouse redecorating ideas, Clare is thrilled to return to work. Until she discovers the assistant manager unconscious in the back of the store, coffee grounds strewn everywhere.

Enjoyable, easy listening story

A fun, easy listen. The story moves easily and I found the narration matched the story. As a coffee-holic I was interested in all the tidbits of coffee lore buried in the story. It was interesting. I enjoyed the story, the mystery was intriguing. I would recommend this story to anyone looking for light listening. The author and narrator have created a good story worth listening too.

Enjoyable read
Revisado: 03-14-17
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I have lots and lots of audiobooks and some narration is really great and some is just so-so. That being said I haven't heard anything by this narrator before and I'm not sure why I didn't really like her. Something was off in her inflection to me but it didn't detract too much from the story line.
Any additional comments?
Though I had problems with some parts of this book I did enjoy the story. I thought the characters were well developed and the story flowed well. I think the stalker could have been left out or further developed, one or the other. This was my only complaint. I would happily read more by this author and intend to read more in this series.
I received a copy of this book from the author but all opinions are my own. I voluntarily offer them.
