I whispersynced this book, but 95% was audio. Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor were 🤌🏻! The perfect pairing to bring Rhys and Tabitha to life.

I think I'm in the smaller majority where I have loved Jasper the most out of all of Elsie's books. I never thought anyone would bump him from the pedestal I had him on, but holy cannoli did Rhys full on roundhouse him right off! I don't have the right words to explain the love I have for Rhys and Tabitha. Wow. I honestly believe this was your best one yet Elsie. You touched every single emotion and truly made me feel every single one of them. I don't think anyone can top them.

One of the slowest, but most gratifying burns I have read recently in a book. The way Rhys and Tabitha’s characters were developed throughout the entire book was fantastic. Marriage of convenience can be a quirky trope, but wow did Elsie handle it like the queen that she is, my jaw fell with the “proposal” as it wasn’t how I thought it would go at all. The dynamics, hurt, grief, anger, humor, trust issues and healing, but most of all love that we got to ride through and feel every ounce of was so beautiful. It was relatable. Wanting to sob one second to crack up laughing the next made me love these two even more.

Elsie took my breath away with this one. If I could I would give infinite stars because 5 just isn’t enough.

Izzy (Bella) and Hudson!! Finally!! I have been in love with Bella and Hudson since they were first introduced to us in ‘Let Me Love You’ and boy were they worth the wait. Their banter and friendship drew me in from day one, but most of all it was looking from the outside in knowing how much they loved each other and just needed the ability to get past their insecurities to let each other in. There was just enough heat (2.5 peppers) that it didn’t over shadow their story but still made their connection fire.

As always Brittney blew my mind with how she once again tied in past characters that completed the story without taking over it. Even if you haven’t read her previous books, you would love the side characters. Her ability to throw us for a loop when it comes to “who done it” frustrates me, in a good way, because I can never guess who the bad guy is, ever!

I had the privilege of reading ‘The Art of You’ as an ARC but could not wait to get my ears plugged into the audio! Wow! Because Brittney’s books aren’t thrilling, sexy and emotional enough she always has the best narrators to bring her characters to life. Connor Crais, Ava Lucas and even the pleasant guest appearance of Joseph Cannata as our beloved Roman just made everything even more unforgettable. When I read the ARC before knowing the narrator’s Connor was exactly who I could hear in my head for Hudson and Ava nailed Bella’s personality.

Fire & Whiskey

I had been anxiously awaiting for Alessandro's story since reading 'Let Me Love You,' as I am a sucker for the fixed playboy who falls hard, especially for his fake wife. Once again Brittney did not let me down. I am a sucker for a good series, but I truly love how we get glimpses of unforgettable characters from multiple series that Brittney has made us fall in love with and always wanting more of.

Callie's sass combined with Alessandro's seriousness constantly added a splash of fuel to the flames that built at a nice steady pace while we got to see each character develop. Brittney's character development is one of my favorite parts of her writing, including building up the characters for her next book in the series. They're never thrown in just at the end, they're weaved in to the main story the entire time giving you the itch for more. In true Brittney fashion the fire is scorching, the love is bold and the suspense throws you for a loop you didn't see coming ending with the HEA you can't wait to see.

I read this as an ARC and have now listened to the Audiobook (my typical way of "reading" books) the performance of Allie Piper and Connor Crais was a perfect pairing to Callie and Alessandro. Especially Connor's fiery scenes.

Beyond the story being so beautifully done by Penelope the narrators were fantastic bringing her words to life. Jacob Morgan left me breathless. I knew Sigmund was going to capture my heart but I didn’t expect to be knocked on my butt with the way Jacob brought the emotions to life.

Groundbreaking

Once again Chalene hits it out of the park. Her level of passion for other’s wellbeing is admirable. It can be overwhelming doing the research that was included in putting this book and program together. Something that causes me to quit! I appreciate Chalene and her team throughly doing the work to make it easier for us, to help us full circle! I can’t wait to take back my life. Live you Chalene and Team Johnson, thank you!
