Predictable Plot Twists

I listened to this as a recommendation from whatever AI generated software suggested based on the fact I read and enjoy books by Freida McFadden. While the narrator did a great job, the writing was subpar at best and the plot twists were eye-rollingly predictable. I pegged the perpetrator from the gate and also predicted (early on) the truth revealed at the very end. Maybe I've just read too many mysteries and psychological thrillers but I won't be a returning reader for this author, unfortunately.
