Historia
Before Liz Lemon, before Weekend Update, before Sarah Palin, Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: A recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we've always suspected: You're no one until someone calls you bossy.

Tina Fey is amazing!!
Revisado: 05-31-11
I am so sad that I have finished this book. Every day as I read this book, I could not WAIT to get into my car for some more alone time with Tina. I have listened to many many audio books. This is the first time that I ever felt that the audiobook MUST be better than reading the hardcopy. I was so excited to share this book with family and friends that I went out and bought several hardcovers to pass around. When I read through the hardcopy, so many of Tina's clever jokes and turns of phrase were lost when I was left to my own devices. Her intonations and improv skills come shining through in the reading. The only reason to buy the book (text) is for the pictures, I think. (So I have both!) This is a must read for anyone who needs a laugh or just wants to laugh. It may be more interesting to women (sorry Tina....that kind of defeats the purpose of many of your premises), but I can't be sure. (My husband put it down after the first few pages. But after he heard me non-stop laughing for three days, he said he is going to give it another whirl. Congratulations Tina Fey. I wish your book had been 10 hours long...but I suppose that would have just increased your stress induced mouth sores. I wouldn't want you to do that just for me.
Wish I could have you for dinner just once!!

A winner!

This book is fabulous. A great great story with compelling characters. I finished it 3 days ago and I am still thinking about it. The reading could have been improved with a reader who was more of an "actor". It took me a while to stop being bothered that the narrator of the story is an actor, yet the reader couldn't "act".

Historia
Sinuously constructed in four interlocking parts, Paul Auster's fifteenth novel opens in New York City in the spring of 1967, when twenty-year-old Adam Walker, an aspiring poet and student at Columbia University, meets the enigmatic Frenchman Rudolf Born and his silent and seductive girfriend, Margot. Before long, Walker finds himself caught in a perverse triangle that leads to a sudden, shocking act of violence that will alter the course of his life.

Left me uneasy
Revisado: 02-03-10
Very creative. Despite the flat tone of the author...I forgive him because he is the author, the story moved and kept my interest. At times I found myself having to put it down because it left me so uneasy. Who's a liar, who's telling the truth? Imagined or real, the events are disturbing. I couldn't put it down yet I was happy it was over.
