Great story with lots of twists. I finished in just a couple days because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next.

Loved this story so much!
Revisado: 02-07-21
As a child of the 70s and 80s, I can relate to this story on so many levels. It’s been a long time since a book or audio book made me laugh and cry and feel like I knew the characters personally. My new favorite. Well done!

Glad I listened to the whole story
Revisado: 09-25-19
I bought before reading the reviews and I have to say I agree with some of the comments. I found wanting to scream at the main character and her stupidity—like how could someone be that naive?! That being said, I didn’t want to stop listening because I wanted to know how it ended. I wasn’t terribly surprised at the ending but still glad I stuck it out.
My favorite part was the author’s British accent.

Gripping story!
Revisado: 03-01-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Loved this story--it really had me on the edge of my seat at times. It doesn't follow the typical cliche story line for this type of novel--plenty of surprises.
Who was the most memorable character of The Guardian and why?
There are several characters in this novel that I liked. Isabel Keating did a good job of giving each character a unique voice without being overly cheesy or annoying.
