Historia
Gunter K. Koschorrek was a machine-gunner on the Russian front in WWII. He wrote his illicit diary on any scraps of paper he could lay his hands on. As keeping a diary was strictly forbidden, he sewed the pages into the lining of his thick winter coat and deposited them with his mother on infrequent trips home on leave. The diary went missing, and it was when he was reunited with his daughter in America some 40 years later that it came to light and became Blood Red Snow.

It is only after the hunt begins that the enormity of the plan comes into focus: The bank theft is just the first step in a plot that will result in the deaths of millions.

very good and a different perspective of the war
What does Bronson Pinchot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The voices, the inflections
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Life on the front lines as seen from a soldiers eyes

Excellent book, normally, history is written by the victors. This book reflects the truths in war, that the soldiers are not so inhumane or cruel as portrayed

Historia
In October 1943, a U.S. destroyer sailed out of Philadelphia and supposedly vanished, the result of a Navy experiment with electromagnetic radiation. The story was considered a hoax - but now Juan Cabrillo and his Oregon colleagues aren't so sure. There is talk of a new weapon soon to be auctioned, something very dangerous to America's interests, and the rumors link it to the great inventor Nikola Tesla, who was working with the Navy when he died in 1943. Was he responsible for the experiment? Are his notes in the hands of enemies?

What did you love best about Mirage?
Good book, Clive brings a story, an idea together.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Always Juan, innovative and action-like
What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Scott did an excellent job, his voices made the story more interesting. the minor problems of mispronunciation of places didn't cause too much of a problem. Overall, great job as usual.
Any additional comments?
Looking forward to more Juan and the Oregon, maybe with Dirk

Would you try another book from Stephen E. Ambrose and/or Jeffrey DeMunn?
Yes, his other books are great
Would you recommend The Wild Blue to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes and no, this book is not what I expected. I thought that it would be more about the missions, the stories of the crews; not the George McGovern story.
What about Jeffrey DeMunn’s performance did you like?
His performance was good

Scott Bricks reading of the story
Would you be willing to try another book from Clive Cussler and Thomas Perry ? Why or why not?
Clive is a great author
Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?
Remi
Any additional comments?
Didn't seem up to Clives usual story line. The other Fargo books, (and his other series), all held me in suspense to the point that I could not wait to get back to them, but this one was lacking that excitement or anticipation.

This book is an eye opener on Lakota history. I have read books by Joseph Marshall, and they backup this book. American history dosen't even address the facts that are hidden from us. This book brings those facts out. It gives a new respect for the plains indians and questions the motives of the US Calvary.
