Deim is quite dim
Revisado: 11-22-24
Story is great, characters are awesome. Narrator is… ehh. But DIEM?!? She’s infuriating!!! Dumb as a rock! Gullible as a guppy. WHYYYYYYY is she sooooo clueless???? Is there another book where she’s more awareness and a better room reader for goodness sake?!!!!

She swallows the small words and flies right through them so that you cannot hear the pronunciations. It sounds as if she skips right over them. I Connor connect with the story if I can’t grasp ALL THE WORDS. I even tried reading along in kindle and it did not help.

Historia
When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

The best dragon series thus farthus far. And I’ve read a LOT!
Revisado: 04-26-23
This book series outshines all that I’ve read. And the auto version did it much Justice. I am eager to see the movie (not the old bootleg version from years ago) I believe it has the potential to be as great as avatar and LOTR. Definitely.

Historia
In the blink of an eye, everyone disappears. Gone. Except for the young. There are teens, but not one single adult. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no Internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened. Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents - unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers - that grow stronger by the day. It's a terrifying new world.

And to think I I almost didn’t finish it
Revisado: 12-16-22
Ok ok. I know many of you guys would say it is not great bcus of how the narrator emphasizes the word “SAID” and drags it across your ears like nails across a chalk board. I can’t say it didn’t bother me at first. I almost chucked my phone across the room a few times… and I read the entire series so I KNOW how good the books are! But speed it up by half and focus on the story, and they way the narrator tells this story practically transforms this audio book into a movie. I knew this series was a page turner when I book clubbed it with my son. But listening to the audio, I actually heard things I didn’t even remember I had ever read and could swear weren’t even in the book. Kyle McCarIey brought this book to LIFE. Even my daughter who refuses to read is now actually READING it while listening along and that in itself is a small miracle. If you’ve started the series do yourself a favor and get over the minor quirks. It is so worth it!

It's been three months since all the adults disappeared. Gone. Food ran out weeks ago, and starvation is imminent. Meanwhile, the normal teens have grown resentful of the kids with powers. And when an unthinkable tragedy occurs, chaos descends upon the town. There is no longer right and wrong. Each kid is out for himself, and even the good ones turn murderous. But a larger problem looms.
