Historia
In the Name of the Children gives an unflinching look at what it's like to fight a never-ending battle against an enemy far more insidious than terrorists: the predators, lurking amongst us, who seek to harm our children. During his 30-year career with the FBI, Jeff Rinek worked hundreds of investigations involving crimes against children: from stranger abduction to serial homicide to ritualized sexual abuse. Those who do this kind of work are required to plumb the depths of human depravity, to see things no one should ever have to see - and once seen can never forget.

Interesting insight to early days of fighting crimes against children
Revisado: 04-27-24
Compelling story, and the thesis that carries the story is his biggest regret is the children he couldn’t protect. He was along for the early days when violent crimes against children began taking more serious prosecution. Graduating from investigating bank robbery crimes to cases of baby snatching, brutal murder, and (the most information on) the infamous religious sex cult he assisted in bringing down. Safe to say the cases steal the narrative.

Historia
Blunt, shocking, and sometimes profane, this exciting audiobook blasts self-help and feel-good remedies to expose the lies with which we imprison ourselves. It talks straight, hard, and true to the heart of the human condition, pulling no punches. It gives us simple yet revolutionary tools to break out of our minds and into a direct and immediate perception of exactly where we are - then shows us how we can together create a world that works for everyone.

Good info but not good “audible”
Revisado: 03-24-24
I agree with the others, some of the information here is GOLD, however the narration voice has too thick of a drawl to where it’s distracting. Seems like it was a self-recorded upload: background noises (at times), stumbles overs some sentences (at times), and sounds exhausted (at times).

The most relatable pro wrestling bio out there
Revisado: 05-28-23
Like the title, the stick factor of this book is how relatable Justin’s journey to the WWE to fans in general. Unlike most pro wrestler bios where some of their biggest battles are them “escaping their parents shadows” and/or trying to downplay their nepotism, Justin was the guy watching every week, at the shows, patiently waiting at the stage door hoping to get an autograph, and through many trials got his dream job. The bad experience he has are told in a way that’s therapeutic rather than ranting or a glorified shoot interview.
