no wonder she is the way she is... I can't wait to hear how book 4 unfolds. Lyrik easily became one of my favorite characters in this series & book 3 just solidified my admiration for her even more than I thought possible, all around she's a bad ass in my opinion.

there was a lot of hopping around between each character's situations as they each sort of go off to do separate activities but lyrik really grew on me in this 2nd book & then getting her background story in book 3 was *chefs kiss* I can't wait to hear how book 4 unfolds.

loved this first book, I just happened to give this one a shot & it does have dark themes/ trigger warnings on the authors website if you need to skip those moments. I listened to it all & I cried my eyes out only wanting the absolute best for the MC by the end & I fell in love with all of her new trusty companions. Immediately bought book 2 & 3 after finishing this first one.

Enjoyable, excited for the next book

found myself laughing out loud, giggling & kicking my feet around out of excitement for the MC. It was a nice book to listen to & it had some great references to other real life things I didn't quite expect but were great in the moments they were mentioned, I burned through this one fast.
