Historia
The hardscrabble folks of Troublesome Creek have to scrap for everything - everything except books, that is. Thanks to Roosevelt's Kentucky Pack Horse Library Project, Troublesome's got its very own traveling librarian, Cussy Mary Carter. Cussy's not only a book woman, however, she's also the last of her kind, her skin a shade of blue unlike most anyone else. Not everyone is keen on Cussy's family or the Library Project, and a Blue is often blamed for any whiff of trouble.

Beautiful story

I love history, and this is a beautiful part of the history of part of the United States that I didn’t know about. It’s very well written and presented.

Welcome to Nowhere, Arizona, the least livable town in the United States. For Gus, a bright 13-year-old with dreams of getting out and going to college, life there is made even worse by Bo Taylor, Nowhere's biggest, baddest bully. When Bo tries to force Gus to eat a dangerously spiny cactus, Rossi Scott, one of the best racers in Nowhere, comes to his rescue - but in return she has to give Bo her prized dirt bike.

Interesting story
Revisado: 12-28-19
I bought this book on the recommendation of my fourth grade great niece. She had gone to her to school library and checked it out to read and really liked it. It deals a lot with bullying which is a big topic around now. I like the story concept. I liked the interactions among the characters. And I liked the fact that it was through Audible so I could hear it and listen to the voices

Wonderful story about teen years
Revisado: 10-25-19
I love the characterization in this book. The author did a great job creating characters that I could see in my mind. I also enjoyed hearing about people that overcome their difficulties and come out strong. I gave this book a good rating in all areas because it was a really good book.
