Inspirational story, but I not for me.

I am an extreme athlete, so I thought I would love this. Many people told me that I must read it. I enjoy many of his interviews in short form, but I only made it one-third of the way through the book before turning it off. While the story is impressive and what he has overcome is extraordinary. I couldn't connect with it enough to finish. I agree with the "suck it up and push through" mentality ... completely. But after a while it became annoying. Impressed ... yes. Inspired ... no.

Disappointing. Boring. Not much useful info.

I heard an interview with Schwab, so I downloaded the audiobook with great anticipation of getting insight of what is coming. But the book fell flat and offered very little in terms of useful guidance or insight. Most of the book, I was wondering when is he going to get to the point and offer a useful point of view and not just reciting survey results and monotonous basic expectations.

Not horrible, but not much better. He made a boring written book, even more boring. I almost turned it off many times because of the droning monotone voice. The book is partly about AI, so maybe this was on purpose? ;) But I kept listening because I wanted to hear the info which turned out not to be worth a audiobook credit.

Why I loved this ...

Once I started it, I didn’t want to pause it. The author brings this book to life with his soothing and genuine voice. That’s great but writing, stories and music keep you captivated. If you’re looking at this, you probably are already meditating or want to. Well ... “Close your eyes and open your mind” is a must read or listen to understand how and why mediation is a must in your life. Let Dada guide you deeper into your journey of meditation.

If you like his YouTube channel, you’ll enjoy this because it is the same style. Lots or common business and self-help, but little original or useful deep dive info. I love business and entrepreneur books, but this was just meh.

Great for entrepreneurs Real useful info

What I love about 12 months to $1 million is that the plan is solid and legit. I’m also a digital marketer and did nearly $1 million sales my first year. Not on Amazon, but the concepts are the same and the process is similar. The one thing didn’t love about this book was that it was light on details and the nitty gritty. Nor did he talk about the difference in revenue versus profit, a key metric. But this is for certain, when you follow this plan, you can work on increasing profit over time. If you can generate enough sales, you can figure everything else out along the way. I completely recommend this book to any entrepreneur or anyone looking to become one. The info is fantastic even if you don’t get into this business model because it relates to any business.

Arrogant and Egotistical - lacking substance

I couldn't finish it.
I was looking forward to listening to this because the preview audio sounded great. But I was quickly disappointed and got through about 90 minutes of it before I had to turn it off.

I like tough-love and in-your-face programs. But this I felt like I was being talked down to and it is too higher than thou preachy. There were lots of phrases and words to sound inclusive, but the tonality and ego was saying something very different. I gave it 3 stars because it is not horrible. Just not for me.

Motivational but lacks actionable strategies.

If you are new to real estate as an investment and not sure it is for you because it is inspirational and teaches why real estate is a great strategy for most people. But if you are already an investor, this lacks usable and actionable strategies to take your investments further.

Absolute must listen and read.

This should be required reading at least once a year. I already knew 95% of what is in this book. BUT, I was not applying many of the strategies because it seemed too much of a hassle. This is a simple and incredibly effective financial roadmap to success that I immediately started to implement and save, make and earn an ROI. This book is the best under $20 investment you can make. I wish I would have done this 20 years ago. But I will make sure my teenage kids read this every year and avoid the pitfalls that 99% of people make that cost them potentially millions in earned investment income and a financially free life.
