Historia
Kai has been doing well in achieving his goal of taking over the entire Avlaim region. Step by step, he has been advancing on this difficult road, but even this is only the beginning. Now he has to work on bettering not only himself, but his entire organization as this is the only way to obtain enough resources and power to find and save his friends. But change is not an easy thing, and few people like it. With his actions, Kai disrupted centuries of stability and drew too much attention to the Avlaim region.

Convoluted, confusing, and lazily written
Revisado: 04-08-23
First, my biggest take away from this book was that Kai and his “clones” are massive pieces of sh*t. This book COMPLETELY disregarded the character development the MC(Kai/Kaiser) went through. It pretty much justified every bad thing that has happened to him or his friends. He pushes this weird gross abuse as character development/training. No, nothing to do with pain or actual training. I mean emotional, physical abuse for the sake of it. Like sexual assault level stuff and LITERAL slavery as character building. It was disgusting, unnecessary, and so weirdly out of left field. It was hard to listen too and just washed away any empathy I could ever have for the MC and made everything he said seem like gross bs out of the mouth of a trash person. And the author is f’d up for pretending that emotional and physical abuse is such a great way of creating functional people with tempered minds. I don’t think he knows how people work.
It’s a lot harder to follow the story because there’s barely one. A lot of it is badly written exposition on almost completely random things while shortening a lot of what does happen. It’s lazy to just extend and look for things to say while abbreviating the interesting but hard to write parts and action scenes. It’s a bunch of ideas read out way to slowly(not sure if the narrator is getting slower or if the story is making it seem more exaggerated), but the author is just cramming more characters and filler stuff to do(magical maintenance and random opinions on stuff like how sad it is for a true master to be drunk, why are you in a random alley talking about this?). It is not as okay as the comments make it. This book is bad, worse then the last by a lot. Try to see if you can spend you credit on something nicer first. Stop rating based on previous books. I liked them too, makes it worse the effort put into this one. It does not feel like the author remembers what happened in their earlier book. This is a different kind of story. And all over such a lazy excuse(amnesia).
It seriously seems like the author had to make a deadline and filled in story adjacent material that “would work”. At best this is background material if you are okay with little story development.

Historia
When a new dungeon is born, it wants nothing more than to have the most vicious monsters, the most cunning traps and the most shiny of loot. There is only one problem...but it's a rather big one. It finished its first floor years ago, but it still hasn't been visited by any adventurers! In order to find someone—or something—to explore its floors, or perhaps just to find someone to talk to, this dungeon will have to go way off script. But it soon discovers that going off script brings problems of its own, and that adventurers are not the only thing this world is missing.

Overpersonification and a scam of a book
Revisado: 04-07-23
It gets to be ridiculous how this dungeon just turned into an emotional wreck because people were dead. It was annoying to see it cornered as a character into a sad sack because the author wanted to show how human it was for absolutely no reason. Given how much effort they went through to tell us what a dungeon it just seems lazy to personify it this way. It just means instead of having to write for a dungeon, you can pretend to be writing for a regular person. An example? It starts burying human bodies in graves with grave markers. Humans it did not kill. Just old bodies it finds while looking. Very human, completely unlike a dungeon regardless of the excuses. It gets to be a cruch that the author abuses to change the story how they like especially towards the end. It’s annoying how much the author depends on personifying the dungeon to direct the story while ignoring any common line of thought that sort of mind might have. Just to excuse ridiculousness.
And the book is 4hrs long, followed by a 10 min epilogue before 2 hrs of side story fillers. This short book completely lies about how short actually is. That’s a third of the book that isn’t part of the story. 2 hrs of side story in a 6 hr book, ridiculous.

Great story!! Until towards the end

Minor Spoilers: Just character names mostly
I really enjoyed the main character and story progression. The only frustrating part was the MC dismissing some major things. Like having his mind read and just going with things with certain characters. I felt it took from the autonomy he balanced with reasoned choices after advice. And Mila’s dialogue is mostly annoying and unnecessary for the later part of the story. She is pushy in an I’m nice way. And he gives her an insane amount of leeway for little reason The way he treats both Mila and Alexis is ridiculous in comparison to how he has acted through the book. Letting people die because he doesn't care, fine. But then giving up control and a bunch of your secrets because she asked nicely? After having been a complete a** to you about asking for anything(biolab stuff, didn't want to spoil, but it was nothing in comparison). Then she is making demands and he just goes oh well. It made me dislike the character because how dismissive he was to so many regular people who asked for so much less to save their lives(which they made understandable), but then to help those two like you owes them while never explaining why you can't ignore/dismiss them like you did the other people who hadn't been a**es to you. It felt forced and added barely anything compared to the risk.

Hey, I accidentally gave away 10000 dollars “ by accident”. Oh, I’ll play it off by giving away more money.I literally just arrived but so what? I’m just a self-proclaimed nerd who reads about these kinds of stories and plays table top. It made me wonder if this idiocy was how the author created story.

Slight spoiler
I like the story but it has one of the most annoying uses of plot armor. The MC uses getting betrayed regularly as a cue to change things up a bit without learning anything. He allows himself to get betrayed and forced to act against nobles who have been doing the same thing. And then he just works for them again just giving them fewer benefits. It got annoying that he defended them and their powers after so many betrayals.
And then there's the whole just taking orders from any royal that talks to him. Dark priests were again just plot armor to make his ridiculous responses to things and people seem sensible. He is SOOO dragged along it's ridiculous. The later part of the story doesn't even make sense. He inserts himself into more drama in the same position simply by choice. He loves being royalty's dog. I dropped off a star towards the end because of how hacky it got. It was charming at first but towards the end it's like having a 5 yr old with a good grasp of English write a story. That was the level of depth and nuance there is.
Overall, as it goes along, the story becomes less about him and more about him following the whims of other people, mostly royalty, while getting weirdly involved with a fully grown baby dragon. It's weird with how a 13 yr old finding a dragon egg with an adult in it. Then that grows over the years into what is implied to be a romantic relationship. At some point it seemed like the story was eating it's own tail going in circles. There is like really 2 things that happen. Dark priests go after place through royal and he goes after them over and over. It's so vague, there's just dark priests who I assume just spawn in some evil land or something endlessly. Cause there is no explanation of where they come from and why their have seemingly unending numbers.

Bad story
Revisado: 02-21-23
Bad reviews have been deleted. This story is mostly a side story. And the MC is into making things difficult for himself. He pretends to be secretive which seems very smart, but will overshare for no reason to people he just met. It’s not slow, just written in a nonsensical way in some important aspects. The power rating is all over the place and there’s a few more issues but this review might get deleted.

Mostly set up
Revisado: 02-14-23
The set up is grueling. Most of the excitement and pull comes from the secondary story for way to long. It doesn’t feel like there’s a point in the slow immersion into this world after so long especially since everything happens there.

Meddled and convoluted
Revisado: 02-10-23
The story includes too much waiting. It’s as though the author doesn’t really know the story yet either. The characters are always in this mode where they are never done getting ready. And the only action has to happen to them by accident. The supporting characters are okay but the MC’s story is slow enough without having to justify, reason and deal with his companions. However nice the moments they may have, which aren’t that amazing, they mostly stretch out the story and it’s unending to do list.
And Nada is just an a** that he takes crap from. I don’t understand why he keeps justifying stalling his progress and being lead by an annoying side character.

Is he king?
Revisado: 01-26-23
I’m still in the earlier parts of the book but if this review doesn’t change then my view hasn’t. He tells us he is accountable to his summoners, who kidnapped him because they thought he was good for the job. I don’t appreciate how “understanding” he is about possibly being a puppet king because he understands their position. He has to share what he plans on doing and they have to be okay with it because they kidnapped him?
Updated:
I was right. He is subtly threatened and kept in check. And it's spun to be okay because he can understand their perspective. He tries to do some shady stuff and it is partially excused because of how bad King Carlos was said to be and him "being pragmatic"(his words). He is made to be decisive and confident but when the sorceress talks to him he can becomes submissive. I was hoping he would at least be in charge of himself. There's a lack in consistency with how he treats his role(and the lives of his subjects) vs the position he puts on himself with the "council?". He never pushes back or sets boundaries. I can't tell if he would just flip on a decision or start making problems for himself to create more story.
