Historia
A Just Mission examines evangelical mission from the perspective of the receiver, highlighting areas of weakness and naming injustices. Unveiling the negative impact of Western mission on the global church, Haddis addresses how white supremacy infiltrates and subverts mission organizations' good intentions, disrupting grassroots missions and local leadership development. Weaving together theology and Scripture with stories from people of color and diaspora groups, A Just Mission offers hope that the mission and message of Jesus can indeed become good news for all.

Thought Provoking To Reframe Missions
Revisado: 02-24-23
A different perspective on the western missions model from a woman of color. The author gives examples of how the current mission’s model is received by some global south Christians and offers suggestion for changing the power dynamics to mutuality. Recognizing how the history of colonialism has compromised the gospel as being a “white man’s” religion and discounting the vibrancy of the global south culture when establishing churches. It can be difficult to accept if seen as an attack and not as a call for unity in the body of Christ through repentance and collaboration from a new perspective of mutuality. She is charging the body of Christ to appreciate diversity and not see sameness as God’s heart for building His kingdom around the world.
