Started strong, finished meh.

First two parts were great - I really enjoyed the “over the horizon” vision and futurist thinking. Third part sort of devolved into a self-help book that doesn’t say anything different than most books out there. I understand where the author was going, but would have enjoyed more of his vision and outlook.

Great introspective book for mid-life!

2022 was a very hard year for me - a nexus of my life, including turning 50. This book was PERFECT! It set the framework for me to analyze the mental, emotional, and spiritual trials I’m going through. I have read hundreds of books through Audible and never written a review. This book impacted me so greatly that I had to write my first-ever review on it. Thank you, Trey Gowdy! You’ve definitely helped me!

Interesting but excruciatingly detailed

The general theories presented in this book are quite interesting and I enjoyed listening to the book, although it was very long. The author does a good job in providing detailed support for the theories, but for readers who are NOT detailed oriented, it can get arduous listening to it.
