I loved this stiry. The magic tied to uis sword, the connections, the fight scenes. It was an interesting way to make the harem work, and cant wait for book 2!

This book js a very fun book, brought to life in amazing detail. I know the narrators are new but they knocked it out of the park with this one!

My favorote character
Is mae, with the puca being a close second!

Fun story

Although i wish the women were a little more fleshed out, this was quite enjoyable. I loved how the main character stepped up quickly to protect the first girl.

I look forward to more, especially when the red headed girl is able to join then, and when they kick the cruel people off their island. At times i got vibes of Skyrim while listening to this!

unusual story

I liked this story... hard to tell who is good and who is bad, and there are so many layers that need to be peeled back to understand more of what is going on. That helps keep the mystery going, and is revealed in such a way to keep things going and unfolding. I quite liked it.

I beta read this book way back in the day, for book one. Life got in the way and I have not been able to return to beta read for Virgil, but when i saw this come up as an Omnibus, this was a VERY easy decision.

I had forgotten how fun the first book was, but I quite enjoyed it again with the half-familiar story. Both of the audio narrators did a great job.

If you are expecting a ton of gore or evil acts, this is not the book. If you want a nearly cozy experience, with all kinds of different Vampires, this IS the book for you. I loved the thought that was put into the story backline and why the school was even kicked off to start. Amazing work as always Virgil!

(note, the bonus novel was fantastic as well)

Though the story was confusing for the beginning, i loved the performance of the narrators who really brought it home. If you want a hitch hikers guide with less humor, this is the story for you!

I quite enjoyed this book, and look forward to the next one! Things kept me guessing all along, especially at the potential history of the world!

I have only listened to a couple books by this narrator, but he is sure growing on me! just wish we got more of Erin in this book too, lol, but such is life,

I quite enjoyed this. Picked it up due to the cover (i mean, how could i NOT?) but i stayed due to the great story, and the narrator - Erin, who knocked it out of the park!

I continue to love this series. The idea of a RL person becoming a god, and then trying to figure her way is still super unique.

I loved much of the additional expanding of the lore of the word, especially the talk with the snake was super fascinating.

The Snake lady bit was also super interesting too!
