Badly written characters, sadly unsatisfying performance by Mark Boyett

A never ending parade of badly written war porn. Gore and violence for the sage of gore and violence. Meanwhile, the author repeatedly uses "assshat" as an epithet, apparently to avoid offending the sensibilities of the eight year old mentalities slurping up this drivel.

I'm also very disappointed in Mark Boyett's performance. Every characterization he does is ripped out of his work on Undying Mercenaries, and other B.V. Larson works.

Narrated like it was a childrens’ book

This was an incredibly trying listen. Firstly, the choice of narrator was unfortunate. Secondly, the characters did not even rise to the level of 1 dimensional. Thirdly, the story could have been cut by 50%, at the least.

To summarize: Awful read, awful narration.

Poorly written, horrendous narration

The dialog in this work is more stilted and wooden than a play written by a 12 year old child. The misuse of words is rampant; Godsmacked, for instance, is used in place of Gobsmacked. The narration is as professional as the acting in a 6th grade play.
Very disappointing and painful listen.

Good story, abundance of grammatical errors

The performance is good. The story is pretty good. The book is ruined for me by the continuous misuse of the word "fixated". "Her gaze fixated on..." Is used multiple times in both the first and second novels. The characters never see or glance at something, their eyes or their gaze "fixate" on whatever is in view. Ruined the books for me. I won't waste any more money on T.R. Ragan's subpar writing.

Another outstanding installment

Spaceship Thrive is another outstanding installment in the Thrive series. Ginger Booth is an exceptionally talented writer whose style sucks you right into the story, and keeps you reading.

Veronica Giguere's narration brings the extremely well developed characters to life in a way that makes them real. She's the ideal narrator for this series!

Horrifically bad writing capped off by abysmal narration

I suppose the 8th grader that authored this mess should be discouraged from writing anything more taxing than a fortune cookie insert. The narrator did fairly well for an eight year old reading an essay in class.
