Great story and good ending for the final book in the series

store is really good and kept me really engaged just like the other three. The only part that I had a force my way through was the airplane scene when they're flying into their final city.

even in this second book of the series, characters are still being developed at a much deeper level. I love listening to this and then narrator is good and the storyline is keeping me enthralled. getting ready to start the third one

I read this book in paperback a few years ago, and wanted to revisit it cuz I'm doing this serious again. Short story, but really good and enjoyable. Good storyline with some good twist and turns.

I've read every Stephen King book - this is the worst by far

I have read or listened to every single Stephen King book, at least everything that was written up until 2023. this one has to be his worst on a handful of different levels.

The first, and most obvious as you listen or read to the book, is he suffers from TDS. And it was very evident in this book that he was going through a hard time in his life. All of the positive main characters and supplemental characters all were double vacs, they touched elbows, they wore a mask, even outside, and he made everyone who didn't want to wear a mask outside, or who didn't have double vaccinations and boosters, look like bumbling fools and idiots.

regardless of what side of the aisle you're on, this would probably turn off any reader except people who still believe what Dr fauci said to be the truth, and that if they don't get the vaccine every year they'll probably end up dying a horrific death.

this book would have been fine if he didn't talk about anything related to CV. It felt forced and unnecessary and was 100% not even needed to carry the story.

also, the Holly character is 100% different character in this book than the other books that had Holly as a character. there is no carryover, in my opinion, from the previous Holly material to this one.

He should have just wrote a different book and had totally different characters.

Even Brenda and her brother were totally different characters in this book.

also, the narrator was different in this one in the previous, and the way Holly thought and spoke was 100% different than the previous portrayal.

this book just felt really really forced, and felt like he was just on a soapbox preaching.

The storyline was fine, but it should have been a story not involving Holly or any other characters.

The only reason I kept listening to this one was because I want to say I've listened or read every Stephen King novel or book was because I want to say I've listened or read every Stephen King novel or book

such a good story, so many good twists and turns. this would be the second time I've listened to it, and even though I knew the basis of the story, and miss so much the first time. such a good read
