Historia
Beck is everything Joe has ever wanted: she's gorgeous, tough, razor-smart, and sexy beyond his wildest dreams. Joe needs to have her, and he'll stop at nothing to do so. As he begins to insinuate himself into her life - her friendships, her email, her phone - she can’t resist her feelings for a guy who seems custom-made for her. So when her boyfriend, Benji, mysteriously disappears, Beck and Joe fall into a tumultuous affair. But there's more to Beck than her oh-so-perfect façade.

Would highly recommend
Revisado: 08-06-18
Main character is unforgettable, and Santino Fontana brings him, and the whole book, to life. Very innovative writing, well crafted story. Would highly recommend.

Historia
Olan Walker was first out of the slat truck and he could have slid through one of the slats. That man was nothing but lank. He was as lean as a dog in Lent. He was as lean as hunger poured thinner than a spoon full of prison soup. He looked like he ate nothing but wind and shadow all his life. If there was a king and queen of skinny; a duke of raw bone, an earl of gaunt, and a prince of scrawny - well Olan Walker was the lord high ruler of them all.

So many analogies...
Revisado: 02-27-18
Tried to listen to the book. Couldn't pass the 15 minutes mark. Everything is described with an analogy, so much it becomes distracting and comical. Some of the analogies are so bad, you can feel them coming. All character descriptions are analogies "X is like Y", all gestures, actions, moods are analogies. Just couldn't follow the story, like a man trying to follow a game with too many players and too many balls, or a kid staring at the blackboard of a uni math class full of pranksters with chalk.
