Historia
Instead of succumbing to life on the streets, Kimbrough sought the one thing that would redeem him from that dismal, expected fate—education. This is the story of a young man who, despite all the forces that worked against him, fiercely determined to make a better life for himself, and is resolute about showing others the way.

Compelling story told so honestly
Revisado: 02-27-25
While many parts of the book are gut wrenching and at times very hard to get through it is also so inspiring. To know that someone was able to survive such a traumatic childhood and not only survive but thrive and find passion in helping others grow and give our best everyday is beyond remarkable.
