Historia
Caitlin Nylo gave up everything to turn her father’s game company into a worldwide success. Along the way, she lost her mother, her marriage, and she barely sees her children. She’s rich, driven, and brilliant. But she’s also alone. After her eccentric father passes away, Caitlin is furious when she learns that instead of leaving the company and its fortunes to her, he has chosen to make his heirs compete in one last game: a scavenger hunt with a multi-billion-dollar inheritance waiting at the end.

Okay murder mystery
Revisado: 12-13-23
The story had an interesting premise over all but it felt like it was lacking. The beginning will be rocky because the main character is absolutely obnoxious and irritating as a person. And unfortunately that doesn't improve with the story. Actually I didn't like any of the characters. I almost couldn't get through the first hour. The ending kinda feels like it comes out of no where? There isn't enough sprinkled in the story for you to go "OH MY GOD OF COURSE!" It gave a similar feel of watching a movie and the scare factor is just cheap jump scares. The ending was there to shock you and give a classic twist, but it left me not that interested.
Even though it isn't that great I don't regret listening. But that's because it was available with the audible plus library. I don't think I would be happy if I paid for this. Overall, it's 'okay.'

Historia
Deep beneath the ice of the Arctic Circle, something has awakened. A primordial creature frozen in time, it is the oldest, largest, most efficient predator that nature has ever produced. And it is ravenously hungry.... Thirty-five miles off the Massachusetts coast, a small research ship is attacked. All but one of its crew is killed by the massive serpentine horror that rises from the sea. The creature likes this human prey. The chewy outer hide. The tender saltiness within. And it wants more....

The monster is a background character
Revisado: 10-25-23
SLIGHT SPOILERS
I'm not a fan of monster stories where monsters are just an outside threat of the human's story. There were so many characters and the only human characters I found interesting were the researcher and fishermen. Then there's a big story of some sort of mob mafia underground gambling something or whatever on a cruise ship which took up way too much time and was extremely boring. I ended up skipping most of their drama.
