Just a fun story

Good world building and character design. Great voice acting. Got book 2 and realized these books are 1 shots. If you want more story involving Velise ever going out of the city. All the mystery and what happens as the mc's pasts catch up with them. it seems like you will just have to suffer. I was so hoping to see more of this dynamic.

Very odd in a good way

Yes there is sex, death, and money has a lot of its namesake. The parts I'm going to focus on are other things. The story is unique and a little grimdark. While being fun you don't know how the MC will react but he has his own logic. The characters stick to there perspectives to a fault some times fatal. The voice acting is great the cast of characters all sound different with unique vocals. The last positive thing I can say is that it was entertaining.
The big thing i must stress is the following:
Due to the world building if you are part of the male alphabet soup group you will not like this book.

The voice actor

Does not act with his voice. Kreigar sounds like a moron. Lylosh sounds like he is sleeping. The actor does not make the characters sound unique at all. At times it sounds like he is reading things for the first time. The story is great and fun. It’s just the voice actor doesn’t compare to the original. Please bring back Bernard S. Clark.

The over all story is fun and creative. The performances are very well done you can tell the actors loved the job. This gets my bones rattlen for some dnd.
