Fantastic!!

I can hardly believe this was included in the Audible Plus category and I didn’t have to use a credit. It would have been worth a credit! The story was wonderful with rich characters. The narrator was truly outstanding. Suzanne Torren is one of the best! She brought the characters to life. I was sad for this one to end. Highly recommend.

Boring

I rely heavily on reviews when choosing a book so I’m not sure why so many people enjoyed this book but I found it extremely boring. I would have returned it but bought it on sale so thankfully didn’t waste a credit. I actually abandoned this a few chapters before the end because I felt I was wasting my time. Onto something good next. My advice would be to pass on this one.

I was guessing the whole time!

I couldn’t stop listening to this one! I find the reader can make or break a book but this was performed so well. The character progression was great. Little by little I started to get a feel for each player but was still surprised at the ending. I definitely recommend this one!!

Not as good as the first book

I had such high hopes for this one, especially after reading Every Summer After which was excellent!! This felt very much like a “young adult” book. One too many references to smoking pot and the main character just seemed very immature. In general this just didn’t hold my interest. Not bad enough to return but I was glad when I finally finished it.

I couldn’t stop listening!

I decided on this one after finishing The Housemaid which I thought was very good but honestly The Wife Upstairs was even better!! The reader (performance) was excellent which makes all the difference. There was also an unexpected plot twist that I didn’t see coming. I blew through this audiobook in 2 days. I highly recommend this one.

Excellent!!

First of all I enjoy all books from Marius Gabriel. The story was so well told and the performance was beyond 5 stars!! I highly recommend this book. I was so sad when it came to an end. The mark of a great book.

Another Diane Chamberlain winner

I really enjoyed this one!! I blew through this pretty quick (the sign of a great book). Likable main characters and a few twists in the storyline I didn’t see coming. The narrator was great too!

So good I listened twice!

This was an eye opening and riveting story. You fall in love with the characters and the reader was EXCELLENT!! I didn’t want this to end. Since I fall asleep to audio books I actually went back to listen a second time in case there were details I missed.

In my opinion this and The Dream Daughter were two of Diane Chamberlain’s best!

Wow this unusual book was simply amazing

I’m beyond thrilled I chose this book. It started as kind of interesting and just got better and better. The star of this book was the reader- Susan Bennett. At one point I was convinced she naturally had a southern accent in real life. She was that convincing! She absolutely became the main character Carly. My only criticism was that when she read the male character her voice didn’t change. At times I was confused as to who was talking but I still have to give her 5 stars! This was well written and the story just pulled me in. The last few chapters were impossible to stop listening to. No breaks here! I had to finish. Don’t pass on this one!

Great story with my favorite narrator!

I really enjoyed this!! A great story with well developed characters. Orlagh Cassidy is simply one of the best narrators of them all!! Seeing that she was the performer is what convinced me to download this one. So glad I did and I finished it in only a few days despite trying to make it last. It was just too good to stop listening. I highly recommend this one!
