Action Packed and Heart Warming all in One
Revisado: 02-08-16
What did you love best about Fredo's Secret?
I loved getting a better look into Fredo and Mia's relationship, they've intrigued me since we first met them. Fredo's devotion and love for Mia and her son is something special and I loved the look at the softer side of Fredo. The way he came up with and worked on the community project really highlighted the type of man Fredo is.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Fredo's Secret?
I loved the action portion of this story. There is so much that goes on in this short story, I love that it was all developed, flowed from one event to another and and concluded in the way it did. I loved how Fredo too Julio under his wing, protected him when he could, and fought to essentially avenge him in the end. In addition, I loved seeing the rest of Seal Team 3 make appearances and support Fredo is his quest to revitalize the community.
Any additional comments?
I love that Sharon wrote this short novella for her readers, and enjoyed J.D.'s interpretation of the story. I loved the action portion of the story. The beginning was engaging and grabbed your attention and the flow of events kept you in the story until the end. A fantastic short story from every angle.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this audiobook to all my friends. This series as a whole is amazing and each installment is as good or better than the last. They are full of action, suspense and romance. What could be better than hott men who take their commitment to each other, their families and their country?!?
Any additional comments?
JD Hart once again does an amazing job of voicing this story. He brings life to each character and just adds something to the listener's experience.

Promises Kept

Any additional comments?
Book 8 in the Seals Brotherhood series was a great listen, I felt it took a turn away from the action packed previous books (still had probably of action) and focused more on the relationship front. The military spouse angle, with the husband who doesn't make it home, it hits something in the listener. There are so many families going through this in our world right now.
The thing I've loved about this series is the sense of family and brotherhood, and this story is a shining example of that. Of taking care of your own and holding them close to you. Of growing and changing from seeing things no one should have and experiencing things no one should have to experience.
J.D. does a wonderful job of narrating the story as with all the Seal Brotherhood books. He certainly has a flair for the dramatic reading of a story. He makes listening an enjoyable experience. Certainly a great way to pass the work day!
Looking forward to the next book in the series!

A Chance Meeting, An Unexpected Love
Revisado: 10-04-15
Any additional comments?
I loved this addition to the Seal Brotherhood series! Tyler and Kate had an intense chemistry that was unrivaled by anything else. They faced so much adversity in their short, quick affair that you couldn't help root for them. A chance meeting, spontaneous conversation, sheer luck, it all led to Tyler and Kate finding themselves in each other's arm.
Kate was so conflicted about her relationship with Randy and what her feelings for Tyler meant. She faced down her somewhat unsupportive family, an upset ex-fiance, a shady friend and fears of what loving a Team guy was all about.
Tyler fell hard for Kate, but needed to be honorable and let her deal with her fiance. He loved her deeply from the beginning, felt the need to protect her, even if it was just from feelings she may experience if she jumped right into a relationship with him. He was a strong man, emotionally and physically.
I loved the peak at what was happening with the other Team guys and what their families were up to. They truly are a family and that's one of my favorite aspects of this series. Overall, this was a great listen! I loved JD's narration of the story, he always brings Sharon's stories come alive and the listener feels like they are a part of the action.
Speaking of action, wow! There was some intense action happening in this installment of the Seal Brotherhood series. I can't say enough good things about this book! As always, I would recommend this to any other listener who loves a Seal, I recommend that you start at the beginning and listen to all the previous books in the series, it's definitely worth your time!

Have to listen all at once!
Revisado: 08-23-15
Any additional comments?
Book 6 of the Seal Brotherhood series brings the listener back to the world of sexy, protective seals. One of my favorite aspects of these stories is the way the whole team has each other back. Because of that solidarity, it's so easy to continue each one of their stories without overtaking the current story. I love that I get to catch up with characters I already know and love, while meeting new characters.
Luke and Julie take us on a roller coaster of emotions, at points I felt like I was going to get whiplash. While Luke is the physically strong character who rushes in to save the day, Julie is the emotionally strong one, the one who will do anything for the man she loves, even if it means distance. I love that this book deals with real issues that our soldiers come home with in real life and looks at how it affects everyone around them and their relationships. I think Ms. Hamilton and JD Hart to a great service to our service men and women by instilling real life struggles in these characters.
I love the adventure that this story takes you on, although this particular book in the series seems more heavy on the emotion and lighter on the action. I would have loved a little more action involved. Overall, book 6 is a fantastic addition to the series!
I would recommend that you start listening with book one so you can fall in love with all the characters too!

A Vacation Adventure to Remember
Revisado: 08-10-15
Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed this installment of the Seal Brotherhood series. I loved the premise, vacation romance packed with adventure and action. I've been waiting for Mark's story since we met him in Seal the Deal, I fell in love with how he dealt with Sophie, and I was excited for his story. It didn't disappoint! Sophia was a lovable, strong heroine, I loved that she had a vulnerable side, but was strong as nails when necessary. I loved the antagonism of Roberto and the way the relationship between Mark and Sophia played out. I felt a little lost on the time table aspect of the story, but that never entered my mind until I heard the words The End.
I enjoyed catching up with the couples/characters from the previous books in the series, I love seeing where they are now and getting a picture of where they are going. I can't wait to listen to more of this series!

Emotional Roller Coaster
Revisado: 07-23-15
Any additional comments?
Seal the Deal is my new favorite from the Seal Brotherhood Series. There was so much emotion packed into this story, I listened to this story as fast as I could. Nick was at moments amazing and at moments I hated him. But he encompasses everything a man should be, strong, loving, compassionate at times, but with faults. I was blown away by Sophie's character and I loved Mark's relationship with her. Some of the most powerful scenes were the small interactions between Sophie and Mark. Devon started out so uptight that I thought I wouldn't be able to identify with her, but all the influences from Sophie, Nick and the other seals brought out something in her that allowed me to relate to her more easily. The story really just blew me away with emotion and I can't wait to see where Sharon takes us with book 5!

Any additional comments?
I thoroughly enjoyed this installment of the Seal Brotherhood series. I've been waiting for Armando's story since book 1. I absolutely love Armani and how he values family and tries to take care of Mia. I enjoyed the continuation of Fredo's devotion to Mia and her unwillingness to see him as anything other than Armani's friend. One of my favorite parts of this series is the brotherhood of the team, and I love that as the series progresses, the previous characters are threaded through so we continue to learn more about them. I was slightly overwhelmed with all the new characters that were introduced to the team in this book, but I look forward to hearing their stories.
I wish Gina had trusted herself more throughout the book, or chose to trust Armani, especially about Sam. But I liked Gina's character. Sam was someone I disliked right from the beginning, so Gina's interaction with him frustrated me.
Overall, I loved this story. I would recommend it to any listener that is looking for a fantastic series about seals. I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series though. JD Hart does a get job putting his personalty to the story and making it come alive. Definitely worth the time it takes to listen to it!

Everything you could want in a story
Revisado: 06-29-15
What did you love best about Fallen SEAL Legacy?
I loved the premise of the story, the whole dynamic of Libby's family and their views of the military and how that affects the relationship developing between Libby and Cooper. I love the way Libby blossoms, she's been sheltered and lived for everyone else her entire life and in the span of a couple weeks, her whole world turns upside down and she learns to think for herself. I love to see that kind of growth in characters throughout a story, it makes it worth reading (or listening too).
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Cooper and how he handled most situations. He fought himself every step of the way, his head and his heart don't always agree, and I almost felt that he didn't want to be happy himself (although that is understandable at times). He's just the definition of alpha in my opinion.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to listen to this book all at one time, but it was just too long to make that happen! I was so disappointed every time I had to hit pause!

Fantastic Start to a Series
Revisado: 06-04-15
What made the experience of listening to Accidental SEAL the most enjoyable?
The most enjoyable part of listening to the book was that each character is given life through the voices, as they are performed by the narrator. By giving each character their own voice, it helped to bring the story to life and helped me to connect to each character better than if I was to just read the story on paper.
Which character – as performed by J. D. Hart – was your favorite?
Kyle was my favorite character performed by J.D. Hart. Although I did enjoy Gunny and and Fredo. The whole Seal Team 3 was wonderfully voiced, each character has their own clear personalty, it really helped the story come to life.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I was able to really invest in the characters in this story, and I really felt for Kristy each time Kyle left her. The yo-yoing of their relationship by Kyle really made the fact the Kristy stayed steady through the events of the book stand out. She was completely there for him and tried to take care of him, regardless of the fact that he was Seal.
Any additional comments?
This was a great first book in the series, I look forward to listening to the rest of the series and seeing what's in store for the rest of Seal Team 3.
