Historia
Until a chance assignment takes GBI investigator Will Trent to the state penitentiary, and to a prisoner who says he recognizes the MO. The attack looks identical to the one he was accused of eight years earlier. The prisoner’s always insisted that he was innocent, and now he’s sure he has proof. The killer is still out there. As Will digs into both crimes, it becomes clear that he must solve the original case in order to reach the truth

I hate Sara Linton
Revisado: 11-19-20
Sara yet again proves to be a self-centered, Lena-obsessed princess who is wholly unbearable. Jeffrey was a POS and everyone is acting like he’s a saint. Sara can’t get over herself, and Will is a doofus. The only likes Le characters these days are Lena and Amanda. I’m also disappointed that I figured out pretty early on who the killer was. Karin, you’re better than this.

Insipid wife
Revisado: 01-17-20
The story is far reaching and unbelievable. The wife is immature, petty, and selfish. It could have been great with a better writer.

I really enjoyed hearing about this family and their reunion. I do think that the mother was being less than truthful and wonder how they’re all making out now

Corny
Revisado: 10-03-19
No other words describe this book but corny. The narrator was over the top and inauthentic. This books reads like it was written by a teenage boy.

God forgive me...
Revisado: 08-29-19
But I actually wish that she had lost her ability to speak instead of losing her sight. I’m only a few minutes in and had to turn it off because she’s so annoying! 90% of authors should NOT narrate their own books and this is proof positive.
She makes someone who has had a pretty tough life seem unbearable, insipid, and shallow.
Glad that it was free because I’d return it.

Historia
Katherine Nichols knew she’d had too many drinks, but they were only going a short distance. “There’s no traffic anyway,” Eve had pointed out. And they'd had such a great night out, the two of them. Even now, driving them home and knowing she shouldn’t, seemed almost mischievous. All part of the fun. Not anymore.

Gullible is the only English word that doesn’t appear in the dictionary
Revisado: 08-16-19
The title sums up this book. How can you claim to be so smart yet so incredibly naive? It was clear pretty early on what was going on, but why it took the lead character so long to catch up is baffling. Also - what the hell was with the weird and unnecessary twist in the protagonist’s background with the uncle? It was useless, added NOTHING to the story and seemed like Natalie Barelli’s ghost writer screwed up.

Learn how Americans speak
Revisado: 08-09-19
The author is Australian and that’s never been more clear than when she constantly uses phrases that are not American like “wind screen” and “candidature”. It’s not helped by the fact that the narrator gives Ben Stein a run for his money with her insanely dull speech and inflection deficiency.

What an airhead
Revisado: 08-08-19
The narrator didn’t help by making Emma sound like a total bubble head, but the storyline seemed like it was written by a teenager. Some plot lines were nonsensical as in they would never ever ever happen in real life and the holes in the story were big enough to fit a truck. The ending was stupid.

Reads like a high school term paper
Revisado: 06-01-19
This book wasn’t filled with any information that people didn’t already know and the author should have let someone else - anyone else - narrate the book. I felt like I was listening to a bunch of mediocre high school students present their final papers. C-
