The combined powers are various flavors of attention to detail/autism. Honestly not sure what the more appropriate label would be. The author will go into extreme details about many many things. Also the narrator doesnt change his voice. Like ever. This would be a negative if the rough smokey timbre of his voice wasnt to perfectly evocitive of North American made in the USA rugged individualism. The narrators voice alone will make you want to sing America's national Anthem. All in all this is a pretty interesting twist on an alien invade earth narrative. Curious to see where book 2 goes.

After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn’t we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?

thrawn + vader/anakin. trawn and anakin is plucky guys vs some small indisusty thrawn and vader is instituionally powered individuals vs a new menace. some qulaity stuff here. the vader voice takes some getting used to ifs good but obv not the inimitable james earl jones. still i got used to it by the end. also marc thompson is thrawn he has him down to a tee!

I read that Paolini spent 10 some odd years getting this right and i thought ok prolly hyperbole. No. it is incredible. Jennifer Hale s performance is masterful and the world paolini paints is incredible i truly fell in love with the universe!

Brandon Sanderson builds out another key pillar of his Skyward universe as you can guess that is the nature/use/extent of cytonic abilities. The narrator Suzy Jackson does an incredible job with the voice work. Please listen to the whole series if you like Science Fiction. I d imagine its also great if you dont but i couldnt say cause I love SF.
