Historia
In 1906, at the age of 24, with only an eighth-grade education, Charley Hatfield discovered a way to make it rain. By mixing toxic chemicals in tall towers he could literally create the atmosphere to bring rain. He spent his lifetime fighting the naysayers, trying to convince government officials, and holding off high power corporations as he brought the rains more than 500 times throughout his life; and he never failed once.

Bring Charlie back!!! When we need rain!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, easy to listen to. Reader's voice is so soft you feel like you are being read to, by your Mother, just before bedtime, as a kid.
What about Christopher Blair’s performance did you like?
Christopher does a fantastic narrating job with his tone and voice fluctuations. His accent lends itself well to the story. I almost felt like Charlie was telling us the story himself.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Got anxious a couple times as to the outcome. I did laugh a few times

Historia
In this social-media frenzied world every individual and company needs a CSO - a Chief Story Officer. People and companies today are losing their ability to connect with others in meaningful, authentic ways. Visit any shopping mall, college campus, or city park, and what do you see? People are focused on their smartphones. They are zombies walking around with their heads down, staring at their screens, bumping into other zombies, but never engaging in conversation.

Everybody has an interesting story to tell...
Revisado: 10-29-16

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes
Any additional comments?
So many different and very interesting personal, funny and uplifting, stories.
It was fun to listen to all the different accounts of peoples daily events. Especially the ones they don't think might be significant. After a couple of the stories, that I related to, I would say, "Well, that's nice, I am not the only one this has happened to."
It has made me look at life differently, when meeting people. I find myself wanting to hear what their story is, and hear how they handled their situations.
Thanks Mr. Henson for your insight and well told stories. It made me think, and helped me want to improve, and enhance my own life, by applying the information that you have given me, in this very well (self help) written book.
This is a book I will listen to again and again. I indeed give it a 5 star rating.....
