Each character is so wonderfully written/exposed- the good and the bad. This book came to me as I am entering a new era of life. It breathed hope and determination into my 57 year old self.

Book is good enough to overlook the narration

The book is good and I will listen to the next one. Just try and get a couple chapters in. The narrator sounds like Casey Kasem is reading the book. Pauses are long, but the book is worth overlooking the narration.

Love love love this book!

Loved the whole book- loved that the reconcile differences without disagreements going on forever. So much warmth in the characters and eye opening about obituaries.
I will start reading them myself now

Book series needs a disclaimer - spoiler alert !

Starts out as a sweet book with good narration and plot line. Then takes a horrific turn and I thought it was a nightmare when I woke-up the next morning. I listen while falling asleep. I think the author is great at story telling, quickly engaging you in characters and then BAM five people engaging in sex at the same time. 4 brothers -ick and no. Hate this because I liked where the story line was going and thought she would fall in love with ONE of the brothers and then we would have four books where each one finds love. Nope. I couldn’t listen further - no way I could let this one play out. Again, great author - horrifically disturbing storyline and they all need therapy BADLY

Finally a book that is perfect length

We all know how torturous it is to have an 11 hour book where in the characters rehash their own internal battles and rearrange their lifetime of luggage for 30% of the book. This one cuts most of that rehash out and just follows this couple for a year. Very enjoyable.

Loving the way this series is developing! Obviously lots of research went into this, makes me want to research and find out more on my own. Cannot wait to start the third :) I hope she keeps writing more !

Not normally my genre, but I loved it and am starting the second right now :) maybe I have found a new genre :)

Witty, heartwarming, smart romance

This is a re-read. I LOVE Emily Henry books and this is one of the few books I have listened to a second time. I just love it and cannot wait to start the next one :)
