Enjoyed the first one better

What did you like best about Path of the Assassin? What did you like least?
I like the main character. I also like the details of people and places. This book seemed to drag a little compared to the first book, The Lions of Lucerne. It was still enjoyable and since I plan to go through the entire series it was next on the list. Maybe it was a little let down but still enjoyable.
Would you recommend Path of the Assassin to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, if you enjoy a writer and the character chosen you need to read each book. I don't understand how someone can enjoy book 5 in a series, for example, without reading 1-4. It's like going to the final chapter and feeling you know the whole story. By the way, Rosebud was a sled.
Have you listened to any of Armand Schultz’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
First time
Do you think Path of the Assassin needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
He's written it
Any additional comments?
No, enjoyable

Historia
The Civil War: A Narrative, Volume 1 begins one of the most remarkable works of history ever fashioned. All the great battles are here, of course, from Bull Run through Shiloh, the Seven Days Battles, and Antietam, but so are the smaller ones: Ball's Bluff, Fort Donelson, Pea Ridge, Island Ten, New Orleans, and Monitor versus Merrimac.

Essential
Revisado: 07-30-12
If you could sum up The Civil War in three words, what would they be?
One of the joys of watching Ken Burns' series was being introduced to Shelby Foote. Listening to such a gentleman tell the story as if he had been there added so much. I've read the books but listening to them has added to my understanding. The saddest thing about today's education is that the young are not taught the truth. Mr. Foote's books are a treasure.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Abraham Lincoln
What does Grover Gardner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Inflection and pace
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
What? Did Barbara Walters make up this question?
