Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Scalzi and Wheaton
Revisado: 08-03-23
Scalzi and Wheaton are a duo made for science fiction. Scalzi takes great care to create these amazing scenarios that are entirely plausible from existing sci fi lore. Wheaton does a great job breathing life into the text.

Some of it felt clunky
Revisado: 05-30-23
The story was great. But later in the book some of the wording felt so repetitive i swear i couldve heard a whole paragraph “copypasted” in a second spot. Also the love interests had no build up or tension. Just felt like two characters smushed together in my opinion.

Historia
Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

Expertly Crafted Nerd Reading
Revisado: 05-16-23
This book is a beautiful mix of psychology, romance, mystery, and humor that can really leave the reader thinking. Amazing book. Wheaton feeds the perfect amount of emotion into Coda 3. Well done!

Historia
From the award-winning author of Occupational Hazards come nine more tales of blue-collar fiction, including The Destroyer (sequel to Jar Baby) and the author's autobiographical Memoir of a Murderer, narrated by an all-star cast of performers. There's horror, there's humor, there's horrific humor. It slices, it dices, it makes julienne fries. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Review of Agent to the Stars
Revisado: 08-03-18
This is the second audiobook I’ve listened to that was read by Wil Wheaton. He has an inate ability to grab my attention and emotions just by speaking. Paired with Scalzi’s writing, this audiobook was a fun, engaging, and inward look at humanity and our approach to the foreign.
