Historia
Aaron Miller knows a thing or two about loss. He’s lost love. Dignity. Second, and even third, chances. Once honored for his heroism, he now lives in near obscurity, working as a handyman in a humble trailer park. But God is a master at finding and redeeming the lost things of life. Unbeknownst to Aaron, someone is searching for him. With deep insight into the human heart, consummate storyteller Dan Walsh gently weaves a tale of a life spent in the shadows but meant for the light. Through tense scenes of war and tender moments of romance, The Reunion will make you believe that everyone can get a second chance at life and love.

Honoring Vietnam Veterans
Revisado: 11-20-24
this book touched my heart in ways I really hadn't expected. My dad and my uncle were Vietnam veterans. Uncle Dan passed in 2017 and Dad just passed this April. hadn't heard a lot of stories from them, it seemed it was difficult to talk about. I respect them and honor them for their service, and I'm very sad for the way the military is treated as a whole after the war. Dan absolutely honors all who served, and all who were let down for serving our great country.

Historia
Grace is one of the most important concepts in Christianity, and it’s also one of the most misunderstood, misapplied, and most abused. Run Over By the Grace Train explores the topic of grace: what it is, how we receive it, and how it changes absolutely everything about us. In this deep, spiritually rich book, Joby Martin offers nine key lessons central to understanding God’s grace as the central theme of the Christian life.

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

I loved to every single minute of this book. Having Mr. Martin narrated it was perfect. As he stated in the epiloge, his words make much of Jesus, and that is what is most important.
